Mackenzie Ridge Mobile Home Park Introduce
Located at 11150 MO-21 in Hillsboro, Missouri, Mackenzie Ridge Mobile Home Park is listed within the context of "RV parks near me," although the available information strongly suggests it functions primarily as a residential mobile home park offering long-term living arrangements. Individuals searching for longer-term housing solutions in the Hillsboro area might come across Mackenzie Ridge in this category. However, it is crucial to consider recent resident experiences before making any decisions regarding this property.
The provided customer reviews paint a concerning picture of the conditions and management at Mackenzie Ridge Mobile Home Park. One review details a severely negative move-in experience, citing issues with cleanliness, pest infestation (specifically roaches), and a pervasive musty and pesticide odor. The reviewer states that despite the manager having nearly a month to prepare the trailer, it was neither cleaned nor adequately treated for pests, leading to an "inhabitable" environment that caused illness for both the reviewer and their pets. This resulted in the reviewer moving out within four days and subsequently losing their deposit.
Furthermore, the review alleges a lack of transparency regarding pre-existing pest problems, with the manager reportedly having "bombed twice" before the new resident moved in. The repeated spraying after move-in exacerbated the unpleasant smells and contributed to the unhealthy living conditions. The reviewer strongly advises others to "stay clear of this hell hole!" and claims that the park is "being taken over by drug addicts," indicating potential safety and community issues.
A second review highlights concerns regarding management and maintenance over a longer period. This resident reports two instances of rent increases totaling $50 within a year. More significantly, they express dissatisfaction with the maintenance department, citing unresolved issues such as mice infestation and fire hazards. As a disabled resident who requested assistance in November, the problems reportedly remained unaddressed even into March of the following year. Additionally, maintenance related to hail damage from the previous spring was also allegedly left unattended. These accounts suggest potential systemic issues with responsiveness to resident needs and the overall upkeep of the property.
Considering these reviews, the environment at Mackenzie Ridge Mobile Home Park appears to be a significant cause for concern for some residents. The allegations of pest infestations, unpleasant odors, and neglected maintenance paint a picture of potentially substandard living conditions. The claim of a growing drug problem within the park raises serious safety and community concerns that prospective residents should be aware of. While the park is located along MO-21 in Hillsboro, the internal environment as described by these reviews may detract significantly from any locational advantages.
The services at Mackenzie Ridge Mobile Home Park, based on the negative reviews, appear to be lacking in key areas. The first review suggests a failure in providing a clean and habitable unit upon move-in, indicating a potential deficiency in pre-occupancy preparation services. The second review points to significant shortcomings in the maintenance department's responsiveness and effectiveness in addressing critical issues like pest control, fire hazards, and general repairs. While standard mobile home park services such as utility hookups and waste management may be in place, the reported failures in essential maintenance and preparation are serious red flags.
The features of Mackenzie Ridge Mobile Home Park, as perceived through the lens of these reviews, are largely negative. Instead of highlighting positive features, the feedback points to significant drawbacks such as:
- Pest Infestation: A severe roach problem is explicitly mentioned, indicating a potential lack of effective pest control measures.
- Poor Maintenance: Unaddressed issues like mice, fire hazards, and hail damage suggest a lack of adequate maintenance and repair services.
- Unsanitary Conditions: The musty smell and pesticide odor upon move-in indicate potential issues with cleanliness and air quality in some units.
- Safety Concerns: The claim of a growing drug problem within the park raises serious safety concerns for residents.
- Potentially Unresponsive Management: The delayed or absent resolution of maintenance requests and the handling of the deposit in the first review suggest potential issues with management responsiveness and fairness.
- Rent Increases: Multiple rent increases within a short period, coupled with declining maintenance, could be a negative feature for long-term residents.
Given the overwhelmingly negative nature of the available reviews, any potential promotional information for Mackenzie Ridge Mobile Home Park should be viewed with extreme caution. It is unlikely that the park would openly promote the issues highlighted in these reviews. However, if any promotional materials exist, prospective residents should critically evaluate them in light of the reported experiences. Any claims of a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment should be independently verified.
Prospective residents might be drawn to Mackenzie Ridge Mobile Home Park due to its location in Hillsboro or potentially lower initial costs. However, the severe issues raised in the customer reviews, including pest infestations, neglected maintenance, potential safety concerns, and perceived mismanagement, should give serious pause. These accounts suggest that the actual living experience at Mackenzie Ridge may be far from satisfactory and could pose health and safety risks.
In conclusion, based on the available customer feedback, Mackenzie Ridge Mobile Home Park at 11150 MO-21 in Hillsboro, MO, appears to be a property with significant issues that prospective residents should be aware of. The reviews detail uninhabitable living conditions upon move-in, severe pest infestations, neglected maintenance requests, and potential safety concerns. While the park may be listed under "RV parks near me," its function as a long-term mobile home park necessitates a careful consideration of these serious allegations. Anyone considering residency at Mackenzie Ridge Mobile Home Park is strongly advised to conduct thorough due diligence, including visiting the property, speaking with current residents (if possible), and directly addressing the concerns raised in the reviews with the management before making any commitments. The provided phone number, (314) 623-7781 or +1 314-623-7781, can be used to contact the management for further information, but it is essential to approach any information received with a critical perspective in light of the reported negative experiences.

Mackenzie Ridge Mobile Home Park Reviews
What a horrible experience. The manager had almost a month to get my trailer ready, like cleaned up and aired out for it being closed up for months. The day I moved in, the smell was so bad from the mustiness and pesticides, nothing was cleaned and it was infested with roaches. The manager tells me she has bomed twice! Obviously there was a problem before I moved in! So they came and sprayed something two more times because there were roaches everywhere which added to the smell and made me and my cats sick! It was inhabitablel! I had to move back out within 4 days because it was infested so bad. Nobody is going to live in infestations! So after moving back out on a month to month lease, the manager kept my deposit! Stay clear of this hell hole! It is being taken over by drug addicts!
Oct 01, 2024 · Bo _Raised the rent by $50 two times in the last year. Unfortunately it appears things have gotten worse in the maintenance dept. Mice and fire hazards have come up and since I'm disabled I asked for help. That was November and in a couple days it will be February and still not addressed. March is here now. Maintenance from hail storm last spring has yet to be addressed.
