Mariner Village Park Introduce
If you are exploring "RV parks near me" in the Everett, Washington area with an interest in mobile home living, Mariner Village Park, located at 815 124th St SW spc34, Everett, WA 98204, USA, is a community to consider. You can reach them at (425) 737-7284 or +1 425-737-7284 for inquiries. Based on the available customer reviews, Mariner Village Park presents a somewhat complex picture, with some residents noting its quiet nature while others express significant concerns regarding the current management and increasing costs. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview based on the provided feedback.
A Quiet Residential Setting
One reviewer describes Mariner Village Park as a "nice quiet lil place," suggesting that the community offers a peaceful living environment. This can be a significant draw for individuals seeking a tranquil residential setting away from the hustle and bustle of more congested areas. The reviewer also cautions against speeding within the park, implying that residents value and expect a slow and safe pace of traffic, contributing to the overall quiet atmosphere.
This initial positive impression of a quiet environment suggests that Mariner Village Park may appeal to those prioritizing peace and tranquility in their living situation. However, it is essential to consider this aspect in conjunction with other feedback regarding the community.
Changes in Management and Resident Sentiment
A long-term resident of eight years provides a more nuanced perspective, indicating a significant shift in their experience over time. This resident expresses that while they "used to love it here," the last four years have been "trying at best." A key factor in this change appears to be the management. The resident fondly recalls a previous manager named Steve, whom they describe as "amazing" and "liked SO MUCH" by everyone. The resident even paid a year's rent in advance under Steve's management, highlighting their positive experience at that time.
However, the sentiment towards the current management is markedly different. The resident states that the current manager is not well-regarded, alleging that he "makes his own rules" and breaches manager/tenant protocol. The reviewer claims to have never heard "ONE NICE thing about him EVER" and now understands why he is unpopular among many residents. This strong negative sentiment towards the current management is a significant point of concern for potential residents.
Concerns Regarding Community Activities and Inclusivity
The long-term resident also raises concerns about community activities, specifically mentioning a "holiday" celebration at Christmas. They recount an instance where there was a "structured song time" featuring exclusively Christmas music, with the current manager reportedly being the one dictating the music selection. The reviewer expresses that this approach lacked political correctness and failed to cater to the diverse religious beliefs within the community, potentially causing offense to those with non-Christian backgrounds. This incident suggests a lack of inclusivity in community event planning, which could be a concern for residents from various cultural and religious backgrounds.
The resident further characterizes the current manager's approach as "his way or the highway," implying a lack of flexibility and consideration for residents' perspectives and preferences in community matters.
Significant Rent Increases
Financial considerations are another major point of concern raised by the long-term resident. They report substantial rent increases, with a $100 increase in the previous year and an additional $200 increase scheduled for January 2025, totaling a $300 increase over two years. This represents a significant financial burden, particularly for residents on a fixed income, which is common in mobile home communities. The reviewer sarcastically wishes a "HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!" while noting the financial strain these increases impose.
The resident, who appears to be retired and relying on Social Security Income (SSI), expresses significant worry about their ability to cover the increasing rent, which is stated to be $1044 per month. They also mention that the community is owned by a "very wealthy owner" whom residents will "NEVER meet," potentially suggesting a disconnect between ownership and the financial realities of the residents.
Lack of Information on Services and Features
The provided reviews offer limited information regarding the specific services and features available at Mariner Village Park. While the quiet environment is noted, there is no mention of amenities such as a clubhouse, laundry facilities, pet areas, recreational spaces, or utilities included in the lot rent. Potential residents would need to inquire directly with the management to obtain detailed information about the services and features offered within the community.
Understanding what is included in the monthly rent, such as water, sewer, and trash, as well as the availability and cost of other amenities, is crucial for making an informed decision about residency at Mariner Village Park.
Promotional Information and Recommendations
Based on the provided reviews, there is no explicit promotional information available for Mariner Village Park. The feedback is largely focused on the management and the increasing cost of living. While the quiet nature of the park may be appealing to some, the significant concerns raised by a long-term resident regarding the current management's approach to rule-making, community activities, and substantial rent increases warrant careful consideration by potential local users.
Local users searching for "RV parks near me" that also encompass mobile home living options in Everett, WA, should approach Mariner Village Park with caution. It is strongly recommended that prospective residents contact the management at (425) 737-7284 or +1 425-737-7284 to inquire about the current management policies, rules, community activities, rent structure, included services, and any potential future rent increases. It would also be beneficial to speak with current residents, if possible, to gain a broader understanding of the living experience within the park.
A visit to Mariner Village Park to assess the physical environment and the overall atmosphere would also be a prudent step. During a visit, potential residents could try to gauge the sense of community and observe the interactions between residents and management (if possible). Given the strong negative sentiment expressed in one of the reviews regarding the current management, it is crucial for prospective residents to form their own impressions and gather firsthand information.
In conclusion, while Mariner Village Park is described as a quiet community, potential local users should be aware of the significant concerns raised by a long-term resident regarding the current management's practices and substantial rent increases. Thorough due diligence, including direct communication with the management and ideally with current residents, as well as a personal visit to the park, is strongly recommended before making any decisions about residing at Mariner Village Park.

Dec 23, 2024 · Rick LittleI used to love it here. 8 year residence. The last 4 have been trying at best. Steve was the manager when I bought here. He was amazing and EVERYONE liked him SO MUCH!RIP STEVE!!!I paid one year rent in advance..$13,000!!! The current management not so much.. He makes his own rules breaches manager/tenant protocol!I haven't heard ONE NICE thing about him EVER and now Iunderstand why he is on the top of so many residents sh%t list!At Christmas we have a "holiday" celebration! I saw there was a structured song time where ONLY Christmas music to be played/sang! I found the manager was the ruler of the music! Apparently, he had forgotten the politically correct manner in how to run an activity that caters to many religions and beliefs! Thus, the activity is ALL inclusive! But he went with it! Many take offense to a singular way of thinking. It's his way or the highway! The rent is up $300 by this January! $100 last year $200 onJan.2025!HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!NOW forget you have retired....you have time to find a way to pay what your SSI won't cover! Say hello to $1044 a month! And a very wealthy owner who you will NEVER meet!
Aug 13, 2024 · Christine NumrichI have lived at Mariner Village Park for 17 years now and love the quiet in a neat clean park. Everyone is friendly and keeps up their yards beautifully. There are annual events and monthly dinners that are coming back now that Covid restrictions have been relaxed. The clubhouse is the focal point for activities. There is a weekly lineup of events from pool to cards to bingo and more.
May 02, 2023 · Lyn WalkerA 55+ retirement home. Well kept buildings surrounding a nice green space. Office and clubhouse are rarely open now due to Covid.
Nov 30, 2020 · Shara HaydenWe have a family member that lives here. It is clean, neat and quiet.
