Meadowlark RV Park Introduce
For individuals searching for "RV parks near me" in the Creswell, Oregon area, Meadowlark RV Park, located at 298 E Oregon Ave, Creswell, OR 97426, USA, offers a location with convenient access off Interstate 5 south. You can reach them at (541) 525-3348 or +1 541-525-3348 for inquiries about availability and rates. Customer reviews provide a mixed perspective on this park, highlighting both its advantages and potential drawbacks.
The environment surrounding Meadowlark RV Park in Creswell benefits from its easy access right off I-5 south, making it a convenient stop for travelers. Creswell is a small town in the southern Willamette Valley, known for its rural charm and proximity to the Willamette River and surrounding agricultural lands. The park's location on E Oregon Ave suggests it is likely within a short distance of local amenities in Creswell. One reviewer notes the "great location" as a significant advantage. However, this same reviewer also points out a significant environmental issue within the park itself: a "water drainage issue when it rains." They describe "lots of water to wade through right out your door" in the second row of RV spots from the northwest corner. Additionally, they mention that the main row leading to the back of the park lacks proper grating or gravel, causing this area to also fill with water during rain. This suggests potential problems with water accumulation and muddy conditions within the park during wet weather.
As an "RV park," Meadowlark offers various services and amenities for RV travelers. One reviewer mentions clean bathrooms, showers, laundry facilities, and a store, indicating that these essential amenities are available and well-maintained. The same reviewer also notes the presence of "3 people that are the faces of this park" who are described as "wonderful, friendly and helpful," with two of them also serving as on-site security, which is a valuable feature for guest safety and peace of mind. In terms of utilities, the reviewer provides pricing information, stating that a monthly rate during their stay was $850, which included all utilities, and an alternative monthly rate of $750 where the guest pays utilities. They considered this pricing "fair" for the amenities offered and comparable to other local RV parks. Nightly rates are also mentioned as varying with the season.
The features of Meadowlark RV Park include its convenient location directly off a major interstate, which is a significant advantage for those traveling through the area. The presence of on-site security provided by staff members adds to the park's appeal in terms of safety. The availability of a store, clean restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities are standard but important features for any RV park. The pricing information suggests that it aims to be competitive within the local market. However, the significant drawback highlighted in one review is the poor water drainage system, leading to potential flooding and muddy conditions in certain areas of the park during rain. This could impact the usability and enjoyment of some RV sites and common areas.
A second review offers a contrasting perspective on the park's management and overall condition over time. This reviewer, a traveling nurse who initially found the park "great-clean, great people and fantastic staff in the office," reports a significant decline after a person named Stephanie Zimmerman became the property manager. The allegations in this review are serious, including claims of unjustified evictions, harassment of residents, and a general unpleasantness in management style. The reviewer also states that the property now "looks like a run down trailer park, with lots of empty spots," suggesting a deterioration in the park's appearance and possibly a decline in occupancy. Based on this negative experience, the reviewer strongly recommends choosing other nearby RV parks.
Promotional information for Meadowlark RV Park is limited to the pricing details provided by one reviewer, indicating monthly rates of $850 with all utilities included and $750 plus utilities. The nightly rates are mentioned as varying by season, but specific figures are not given. There are no mentions of any special offers, discounts for longer stays, or other promotional incentives in the provided reviews. Individuals interested in current rates and availability should contact the park directly using the provided phone numbers.
For individuals searching within the "RV parks near me" category in Creswell, Meadowlark RV Park presents a location with excellent access to I-5 and seemingly competitive pricing with included amenities. The positive comments about the friendly staff and on-site security are also noteworthy. However, the significant concerns raised about water drainage issues during rain and the alleged negative impact of a change in property management, including claims of harassment and property deterioration, are serious factors that potential guests must consider. The stark contrast between the two reviews highlights the importance of seeking current and possibly additional feedback from recent visitors to get a comprehensive understanding of the park's present condition and management.
The Creswell area offers a quieter, more rural setting than nearby Eugene, while still providing access to local services and attractions. Its location along I-5 makes it a convenient stop for travelers exploring the Willamette Valley or passing through Oregon. However, the internal conditions and management of Meadowlark RV Park, as described in the reviews, could significantly impact the overall experience, regardless of the surrounding environment.
In conclusion, Meadowlark RV Park in Creswell, OR, offers a convenient location off I-5, competitive pricing, and amenities such as clean facilities and on-site security. However, potential guests should be aware of reported issues with water drainage during rain and significant concerns raised about the current property management, including allegations of harassment and property decline. The contrasting positive and negative reviews underscore the importance of conducting further research and potentially contacting the park directly to assess the current conditions and make an informed decision. Visiting the park in person, if feasible, could also provide valuable insights before committing to a stay.

Meadowlark RV Park Reviews
This park has a water drainage issue when it rains. Lots of water to wade through right out your door in all RV spots 2nd row from NW corner. Plus they do not grate or gravel the main row to back part of park. This area fills with water when it rains. Questionable when 11 yards of gravel only costs $350. Outside of this this park is amazing, great access right off I-5 south. The 3 people that are the faces of this park are wonderful, friendly and helpful plus 2 serve as on site security. All park is well maintained, bathrooms, shower, laundry and store is clean. Nightly rate varies with season. Monthly rate at my stay $850 included all utilities and $750 you pay utilities. This is a fair amount for all the ammenities. And is comparable to all other RV parks locally. Again, great location. Great People.
Apr 29, 2025 · Trina DodsonI am a traveling OR Scrub Nurse working in the area. When we first moved in this park was great-clean, great people and fantastic staff in the office. A person named Stephanie Zimmerman became the property manager shortly after and unfortunately, this place is now very different. She has evicted people for no reason, has harassed people and generally been very unpleasant. The property now looks like a run down trailer park, with lots of empty spots. There are nice parks nearby, go to one of those.
Sep 27, 2024 · Carol StantonPrice advertised $68.00 per night. I booked 2 nightst and when I received the invoice with charges listed the price was over $80.00. I called and asked to cancel the reservations because I don't have the additional funds. Well they do not refund any money ..Federal law HR 6543 is a law that forbids hidden fees and charges to be added .How are they getting by with this?Avoid this park at all costs. There are many nice campgrounds around Oregon where you are appreciated and treated fairly.
Aug 10, 2024 · Jodi HLove the ease of access from the interstate, staff is friendly and attentive.Biggest complaint is the internet does not cover the entirety of the park.
Dec 07, 2024 · Cyrus PlattManagement is 2 faced. If it doesn't help him, he's done, you have to go. Showers are cleaned noon til 2pm and not cleaned very well. They say one thing but means another. Maintenance crew look out if you have an attractive daughter or wife. They will stop everything and drool over them. They will even look through your windows. Was a great place to stay for a bit until their true colors come out.
