Parkwood MH Introduce
Parkwood MH is a mobile home park located at 9300 Pendleton Pike, Indianapolis, IN 46236, USA. While categorized under "RV parks near me," it primarily serves as a long-term residential community for manufactured homes. Individuals searching for "RV parks near me" in the Indianapolis, Indiana area who are considering a more permanent living situation in a manufactured home community might find Parkwood MH worth exploring. The available customer reviews offer a mixed perspective on the community, highlighting both positive and negative aspects.
Parkwood MH can be contacted at (317) 897-9365 or via mobile phone at +1 317-897-9365 for inquiries about residency and available homes. One resident who has lived in Parkwood MH for a few years expresses a positive overall experience, stating, "I really like it!" This reviewer acknowledges that individual experiences may vary, noting that "there are good, and bad, neighbors anywhere you go." Importantly, they commend the park's efforts to ensure safety and cleanliness, which suggests that management is proactive in maintaining a certain standard within the community.
Another reviewer describes Parkwood MH as a "Quiet community. Nice place to live." This positive initial assessment suggests that the park generally offers a peaceful living environment, which can be a significant draw for potential long-term residents. However, this reviewer also raises concerns about overcrowding, particularly on weekends and evenings. They note that parking along the streets becomes problematic during these times, making it "very difficult as well as dangerous" to turn corners and navigate the streets. The reviewer further elaborates that the street parking effectively turns roadways into one-way passages and restricts visibility, potentially creating hazardous situations for both drivers and pedestrians within the park.
Based on these reviews, the environment of Parkwood MH presents a mixed picture. On the one hand, it is described as a quiet community where the management actively tries to maintain safety and cleanliness. This suggests a potentially pleasant and well-cared-for living space. On the other hand, the issue of overcrowding during peak times and the resulting street parking problems that impede traffic flow and visibility are significant environmental concerns that could detract from the overall quality of life for residents. The contrast between the general liking of one resident and the specific concerns of another highlights the importance of considering both the positive and negative feedback.
The services at Parkwood MH, while not explicitly detailed, can be inferred to include basic infrastructure for a mobile home community, such as utilities (water, sewer, electricity) and waste management. The positive mention of the park trying to ensure safety and cleanliness suggests that management is involved in maintaining the common areas and potentially addressing security concerns. However, the lack of mention of specific amenities like a community center, pool, or playgrounds might indicate that these are either not available or not a significant aspect of the community for these reviewers. The issue of street parking and potential traffic congestion could also be seen as a service-related concern, as it impacts the accessibility and safety of the park's internal roadways.
The features of Parkwood MH, based on the limited reviews, include its nature as a mobile home park where residents likely own their homes and lease the land. The description as a "quiet community" suggests a peaceful atmosphere, which could be a desirable feature for many. The management's efforts towards safety and cleanliness are also a noteworthy feature. However, the recurring issue of crowdedness on weekends and evenings, coupled with problematic street parking leading to difficult and dangerous navigation, is a significant feature that potential residents should consider. The fact that street parking restricts vision and effectively creates one-way streets during peak times could impact daily routines and the overall sense of ease within the community.
Promotional information for Parkwood MH is not explicitly provided in the given text. The positive comments from one resident about liking the community and the park's efforts towards safety and cleanliness could be seen as indirect positive feedback. However, the concerns raised by another resident regarding overcrowding and parking issues present a significant counterpoint. Any potential promotional materials for Parkwood MH should be evaluated in light of these real resident experiences. Local users searching under "RV parks near me" who are considering Parkwood MH for long-term living should weigh the reported quiet atmosphere and management's efforts against the potential downsides of overcrowding and parking difficulties, especially during weekends and evenings.
In conclusion, Parkwood MH in Indianapolis, IN, appears to be a mobile home community with both positive and negative aspects based on the limited customer reviews. A quiet environment and efforts towards safety and cleanliness are appreciated by at least one long-term resident. However, concerns about overcrowding during peak times and the resulting hazardous street parking conditions are significant drawbacks highlighted by another resident. Potential local users searching for "RV parks near me" who are considering Parkwood MH should carefully weigh these factors. It is recommended to visit the community at different times of the day and week to assess the parking and traffic situation firsthand and to inquire with management about their policies regarding parking and overcrowding to make an informed decision about long-term residency.

Parkwood MH Reviews
I have lived here for a few years, and I really like it! Others might not share my view, but there are good, and bad, neighbors anywhere you go. The park really tries to make sure that it is safe and clean.
Apr 06, 2018 · angela iqbalQuiet community. Nice place to live. But gets very crowded on weekends and evenings. Parking along streets makes turning corners and getting down streets very difficult as well as dangerous. Everything turns to a one way and vision is restricted.
Jan 05, 2019 · Christin DavisRun run!!! Is all I can say really my lot rent is 340 a month I've lived here for 5 years and they've raised the rent twice with in that amount of time and they have no amenities they don't have a park for the kids to play at it takes them forever to fix the roads and when it snows or there's ice on the roads they don't put salt down they barely plow the roads!! They do not make people in here follow the rules on parking or anything for that matter I mean you know around holidays certain holidays I mean they will have parties out in the middle of the street like a parade so you came and drive down your street kids running out in the street it's just ridiculous in here and they keep raising the rent and then offer nothing in this place they need to put in like a playground for the kids or a water splash park something if they're going to keep raising the rent!! and when I tried talking to the manager and Parkwood and so is my husband about the ridiculous noise the way people Park he says why don't you talk to them meaning the neighbors and we have the thing is is they claim not to speak English so you know to me I tried that several times talking to the neighbors if that doesn't work then he should be bringing his butt down and talking to them you know I'm a very easy person to get along with but some things are just ridiculous it's about respect you got to have respect when you live on top of people in a trailer park like this but just run I would not recommend this place to nobody as soon as I can I will be moving out of this place because for what you pay for rent and if you got the payment on a trailer I own mine so I only have the lot rent for what you're paying for that you could go get a nice house in a decent area so just run people run lol.
Sep 20, 2018 · Brandy HindsParkwood consists of mainly a Hispanic population. They are not mean but it’s a lower income housing community so they’re not exactly inviting. It’s a place where everybody knows everybody and they are a little hesitant towards newcomers. Also they don’t rent here, strictly buy to live.
