Oakridge Manor Mobile Home Introduce
Welcome to Oakridge Manor Mobile Home, located at 9530 Pendleton Pike, Indianapolis, IN 46236, USA. Situated in Indianapolis, Indiana, Oakridge Manor is primarily a mobile home community that may also, under certain circumstances, cater to those seeking "RV parks near me" in the Marion County area. You can contact them at (317) 897-2078 or their mobile number, +1 317-897-2078, for inquiries. However, it is crucial to consider the information presented in customer reviews when exploring this community for either mobile home living or potential RV accommodations.
The available customer reviews for Oakridge Manor Mobile Home paint a starkly negative picture, raising significant concerns about the community's management practices, contractual transparency, and living conditions. One reviewer strongly advises against moving to this location, alleging that residents are "ripped off." They claim that the management fails to adequately explain contract terms and does not honor promises made. This individual characterizes Oakridge Manor as "by far the worst Mobil homes community." Furthermore, they describe an uncooperative attitude from the management when asked for an attorney's contact information, suggesting a lack of transparency and a dismissive approach towards residents' rights.
A particularly serious allegation is made regarding the sale of a mobile home without essential utilities such as air conditioning and heat, which the reviewer states is "not even legal." This claim, if accurate, indicates a severe disregard for basic living standards and potentially unlawful practices. Prospective residents should exercise extreme caution and thoroughly investigate the condition of any mobile home offered for sale within this community, ensuring all essential systems are functional and compliant with local regulations.
Another reviewer echoes the negative sentiment, stating they "would never in a million years give this horrible place a star." This individual highlights a condition of residency requiring the purchase of a trailer but then imposes restrictions on making improvements or repairs according to the owner's preferences. Specifically, they mention being prohibited from installing new windows, even at their own expense. This suggests a high degree of control by the management over the aesthetic and functional aspects of residents' homes, potentially limiting their ability to personalize and maintain their property to their liking.
Adding to the restrictive environment, the second reviewer also points out stringent rules regarding visitors, stating that no overnight guests are allowed, even for short durations. This policy could significantly impact residents' ability to have family or friends visit, potentially leading to social isolation and a feeling of being overly controlled. For individuals who value having guests, this restriction would be a major deterrent.
The reviewer further expresses concerns about the rudeness and lack of care from individuals perceived as "not even legal citizens" (it is important to note that this is the reviewer's subjective opinion and may not reflect the actual legal status or the attitudes of all individuals within the community). The reviewer, identifying as Latino, shares this negative interaction, suggesting potential issues with interpersonal relations or management's handling of resident needs.
The second review concludes with a strong warning against living in Oakridge Manor, advising potential residents to avoid spending their money in a community where they might overpay for an aging trailer, be restricted from making necessary improvements, and face limitations on having guests. This consistent and vehement negative feedback from multiple reviewers should serve as a significant red flag for anyone considering moving into Oakridge Manor, whether as a mobile home owner or potentially as an RV guest.
Considering the category "RV parks near me," the information gleaned from these reviews does not provide any specific details about services or amenities offered to RVs at Oakridge Manor Mobile Home. However, given the serious concerns raised about the management's practices and the overall living environment for mobile home residents, it would be prudent for RV owners to exercise extreme caution before considering this location for any type of stay. It is highly recommended to seek alternative RV parks in the Indianapolis area that have more positive and transparent reputations.
Based solely on the overwhelmingly negative feedback available, Oakridge Manor Mobile Home appears to be a community with significant issues related to management, contractual obligations, community rules, and potentially the condition of the housing offered. The allegations of deceptive practices, restrictive rules, and disregard for basic living standards are deeply concerning. Without any positive reviews or information to counter these claims, it is impossible to recommend this community to potential residents or RVers.
In conclusion, the available information strongly suggests that potential residents and those seeking "RV parks near me" in Indianapolis should approach Oakridge Manor Mobile Home with extreme caution. The serious allegations of unfair practices, restrictive rules, and poor living conditions warrant thorough investigation and likely consideration of alternative housing or RV park options in the area. Contacting Oakridge Manor at (317) 897-2078 or +1 317-897-2078 for further information is advisable only with a clear understanding of the significant negative feedback and a prepared list of detailed questions addressing the concerns raised by former residents.

Please please do not go to this place , they rip off people. Don’t explain nothing to you regarding they contract. They do not comply with any promises made. They talk a big game but are by far the worst Mobil homes community. If you ask for attorney’s number they give you a attitude an act like you are not entitled to know anything regarding them an how they function. They are a complete rip off. They will sell you a mobile home with no ac no heat, that’s not even legal😡
Aug 10, 2023 · Katherine MI would never in a million years give this horrible place a star it is one of the worst trailer parks that I ever lived one condition was that you have to buy your trailer but yet you can't fix it to your liking I wanted new windows installed with my own money and you cant even have anybody staying not even for a day or two. My bother who is a marine visiting. I find these people who are not even legal citizens to be rude and not care about your needs. I my self am Latino. so if you want to make an over payment on a trailer that's over 30 years old not be able to fix it and Telling you who you can't have at your home then by all means spend your money. However I learned my lesson and I'm giving you a warning do not live here
Feb 25, 2019 · Antonio PerezPlace is trashy. They're racist. If you're not a mexican, they don't want you. Their maintenance don't speak English nor do they have license to fix hvac, or plumbing. They sell you trailers with bad furnaces and bad water heaters. They only got a star because you have to put it 👎👎
Feb 25, 2019 · Kristie GonzalezIf I could rate this neighborhood a 0 star I would. There are sewage and water line issues throughout the entire neighborhood that they refuse to fix or deal with and it seems they are very racist against any race that isn't Hispanic. They sell run down trailers that fall apart the moment you sign the lease! Do not move here!
Aug 17, 2022 · JessGood place for a couple or a family. Kind of dirty an no maintenance to help you fix stuff, it's more of a self do it. Other than that, good place to live.
