Mt Lebanon Campmeeting Introduce
For local users in the Lebanon, Pennsylvania area seeking information about "camping near me," the listing for Mt Lebanon Campmeeting, located at Mt Lebanon Dr, Lebanon, PA 17046, USA, presents a somewhat unique scenario. While the name suggests a traditional campground or religious retreat facility, the available reviews primarily focus on a disc golf course located at the same address. You can contact them at (717) 274-1206 or +1 717-274-1206 for inquiries, though it's important to note that information specifically about camping facilities is absent in the provided text. Therefore, this introduction will primarily focus on the disc golf aspect as described in the reviews, while acknowledging the potential for camping or other facilities associated with a campmeeting location.
The environment of Mt Lebanon Campmeeting, based on the disc golf course review, is described as "mostly wooded." This suggests that the course is integrated into a natural, forested setting, offering shade and a more challenging playing experience due to the trees acting as obstacles. The reviewer also notes that the "location is great," implying that it is easily accessible for local residents. The fact that the reviewer often stops here during runs to or from Lebanon indicates its convenient location within the vicinity. The presence of a disc golf course in a wooded area can be appealing to those who enjoy outdoor activities in a natural setting. While the reviews don't detail the broader environment of the campmeeting grounds beyond the disc golf course, the name itself suggests a potentially tranquil and community-oriented atmosphere, often associated with religious or retreat centers.
The services directly mentioned in the context of Mt Lebanon Campmeeting relate to the disc golf course. These include a "short 9 hole course," indicating a smaller and quicker round of disc golf compared to an 18-hole course. The tees are described as "rubber matting," which is a common surface for disc golf tee pads, providing a consistent footing for players. The baskets used on the course are identified as Innova, a well-known and respected brand in the disc golf community, suggesting a certain level of quality for the course equipment. However, a notable drawback mentioned by the reviewer is the lack of a "designated parking area" specifically for the disc golf course. The reviewer reports parking in front of a coke machine near tee one, highlighting an informal parking situation. Beyond the disc golf amenities, the reviews do not provide information about typical campground services such as restrooms, water sources, camping sites, or other facilities one might expect at a traditional campmeeting or campground. Local users interested in camping or other services would need to inquire directly via the provided phone number.
The primary feature highlighted in the reviews for Mt Lebanon Campmeeting is the 9-hole disc golf course. Its short length makes it ideal for a quick round, as the reviewer mentions being able to complete it in about 20 minutes. The fact that all holes are par 3, with a few having the potential for an "ace" (a hole-in-one), suggests a course that might be enjoyable for both beginners and more experienced players looking for a quick and potentially rewarding game. The wooded environment adds a level of challenge and aesthetic appeal. Another feature, though not directly related to the facility itself, is its convenient location for local residents, as indicated by the reviewer's frequent stops. A brief second review mentions the area as a "small neighborhood" that is "cute yet not a beautiful place," offering a very general and somewhat neutral observation about the surrounding area.
The provided information does not include any promotional details for Mt Lebanon Campmeeting, either for the disc golf course or for any potential camping or retreat facilities. Local users interested in any fees associated with the disc golf course (if any), or in information about camping or other services, would need to contact them directly at the provided phone number. It's possible that the disc golf course is free to use, given the lack of mention of fees and the informal parking situation, but this would need to be confirmed. Similarly, any information about rates, availability, or special events related to the campmeeting itself would require direct inquiry.
Considering the "camping near me" category, Mt Lebanon Campmeeting presents a somewhat ambiguous offering based on the provided reviews. While the name suggests a facility that might include camping, the available information focuses almost entirely on a disc golf course. For local users in Lebanon, PA, who are interested in disc golf, the 9-hole wooded course offers a convenient and quick option for a round. The great location, rubber mat tees, and Innova baskets are positives for disc golf enthusiasts. However, the lack of designated parking is a noted inconvenience. For those specifically searching for traditional camping facilities, the absence of any mention of campsites, amenities, or services in the reviews means that Mt Lebanon Campmeeting might not be a primary option, or that this information is not readily available online through these user reviews. Local users seeking camping should directly inquire about the availability and nature of any camping facilities when they call.
In conclusion, based on the limited information available, Mt Lebanon Campmeeting in Lebanon, PA, appears to primarily feature a short, 9-hole, mostly wooded disc golf course with rubber mat tees and Innova baskets, conveniently located for local residents. The lack of a designated parking area is a noted drawback. There is no information in the provided reviews about camping facilities or other services typically associated with a campmeeting. Local users interested in playing disc golf at this location can likely do so without fees, given the lack of mention, but should be aware of the informal parking situation. For those specifically seeking "camping near me," it is essential to contact Mt Lebanon Campmeeting directly to inquire about the availability, amenities, and policies related to any camping or retreat facilities they might offer, as this information is not present in the available customer reviews.

Mt Lebanon Campmeeting Reviews
This is a short 9 hole course mostly wooded. The location is great. I often stop here on a run to or from Lebanon and can get a round in in about 20 minutes. They are all par 3 hole which a few could be aced. The bad part is that there is not a designated parking area here. I park in front of the Coke machine near tee one. The tees are rubber matting. Baskets are Innova.
Jan 19, 2022 · Josiah GrunwaldWorth checking out this small neighborhood. Cute yet not a beautiful place.
Mar 06, 2019 · Susan LandisNice shaded disc golf course. The course is 9 holes, and mostly shaded. The area does get hit hard with water, and some of the ground can be saturated and makes for a muddy course. I would not recommend playing after a heavy rainfall.
May 24, 2019 · BradI grew up here every summer. Great community of people who are kind and caring.
Aug 06, 2024 · DerekI've attended evenings programs as part of the summer camp meeting program of the Eastern PA Conference of the United Methodist Church. During camp meeting, there are programs throughout the day, but I've not been able to attend these. The evening programs start with music and worship and also include a teaching. These are typically good. There is a cafeteria with meals during camp meeting week. There are folks who own the cottages in the camp meeting and stay here during the warmer months. There are a few who live here year round.
