Plymouth Hills/AJR Home Sales Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Plymouth Township, Michigan area, particularly if you are looking for a 55+ community, Plymouth Hills/AJR Home Sales, located at 14165 Grant Dr, Plymouth Township, MI 48170, USA, is a mobile home park that warrants your attention. They can be contacted by phone at (734) 453-5761 or via mobile phone at +1 734-453-5761. While one review describes it as a "perfect, quiet, 55+ mobile home community" with a pool, clubhouse, and scheduled activities, other reviews present serious allegations regarding the management and financial aspects of living in this park. Therefore, prospective residents searching for "RV parks near me" should carefully consider all available feedback before making a decision.
One positive review highlights the key features that might appeal to those seeking a 55+ community: a quiet environment, a pool, a clubhouse, and organized activities. These amenities often contribute to an active and social lifestyle for retirees and seniors. If you are specifically looking for a retirement-focused "RV park near me" with such features, this initial positive impression might be appealing.
However, in stark contrast to this positive description, two other reviews paint a very concerning picture of Plymouth Hills and its management. One reviewer labels Plymouth Hills as "a nightmare for homeowners." This individual alleges that the management "monopolizes the selling process," purportedly forcing lowball offers and blocking outside buyers. This suggests a potential lack of control and financial disadvantage for residents wishing to sell their homes within the community. Furthermore, the reviewer claims that the management "trap residents with bogus violations," selectively enforce rules, and "steal deposits with shady tactics." Allegations of favoritism towards certain residents and "constant harassment" of others further contribute to a disturbing portrayal of the community's internal dynamics. The reviewer strongly advises potential residents to "stay far away from this place" if they value fairness, financial security, and peace of mind.
Another review echoes these negative sentiments, specifically advising potential buyers to "Do not buy a home here." This reviewer claims that new homeowners will "immediately lose equity" and be required to fix pre-existing issues that the previous owner was not obligated to address. The issue of "bi yearly rent increase" is also raised as a financial disadvantage. Most notably, this reviewer highlights an "absolutely criminal, disgusting 10% commission fee for brokering your home," contrasting it sharply with the typical 2.5-3% charged by most realtors. This significant financial implication for selling a home within the community is a serious concern for prospective residents considering long-term investment in this "RV park near me."
Considering these strongly contrasting opinions, it is crucial for anyone searching for "RV parks near me" in the 55+ category to approach Plymouth Hills/AJR Home Sales with significant caution. While the community may offer appealing amenities and a potentially quiet environment, the serious allegations regarding management practices, financial implications of homeownership, and community dynamics cannot be ignored. Prospective residents must weigh the potential benefits against the significant risks highlighted in the negative reviews.

When searching for "RV parks near me" for long-term living, especially in a 55+ community, factors such as a peaceful environment and social opportunities are important. However, financial security, fair treatment, and transparent management practices are equally critical. In conclusion, Plymouth Hills/AJR Home Sales in Plymouth Township, Michigan, presents a mixed picture for those searching for "RV parks near me," particularly within the 55+ category. While it may offer appealing amenities and a potentially quiet setting, the serious allegations of unfair management practices and significant financial disadvantages for homeowners raise significant concerns. Feb 06, 2025 · Pizza ChanJust moved in here last week and I love it. It's a very quiet and peaceful place. IT Is a great location next a good parks, and not too far from downtown Plymouth.Update 5 yrs later: I was going to move last year and they make you do a lot of updates that can be rather expensive. My skirting had small dents and they made me get all new skirting before I could post it to sell which at the time was around three thousand dollars. I ended up staying because of some life circumstances, and still love it here tho. I feel safe here, neighbors are friendly, great location, and with inflation, this is my cheepest option to live in a great city! I will stay here until I am ready to move out of state. Picture is one of the many parks within three miles of home.
Jul 29, 2023 · Traveling our beautiful Earth McNallyJames and I just applied the other day. Our experience with the staff and mainly Carla has been nothing but good. Carla walked us through more than a few homes and was patient with us each time, informative and kind too. We've met with her on multiple occasions to do walk-thru's. Prior to finding out about Plymouth Hills - James and I had driven through other parks, looking to upgrade ourselves from our apartment and I must say, Plymouth Hills is gold compared to any other park we drove through, and we drove through quite a few. You can tell once you pull into Plymouth Hills community that it is an upgrade from the rest. James and I both appreciate that the park is kept up, people take pride in their homes, new homes are consistently being brought in, and it is clean. We've been to the Plymouth Hills on multiple occasions - during the day and during the evening to check progress on one being built that we've had our eyes on. I appreciate that they take their time building them instead of a rush job. I've seen no problems with this park, or with the staff, or the residents. Some wave at you - which is nice. We are excited to move in. Hopefully, we will pass AJR standards and are able to move in. We would absolutely love to live here and would take utmost pride in our new home -after keeping an eye on it and watching it get built, how nice itd be to actually be able to reside in it - It is BEAUTIFULLY put together both inside and out, the color scheme, layout, its just perfect❤️ We really hope we get it.AND WE GOT IT
