Ramon Mobile Home & RV Park Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" with the intention of finding a place for your trailer, or if you are considering mobile home living in the Palm Springs, California area, Ramon Mobile Home & RV Park, located at 1441 E Ramon Rd, Palm Springs, CA 92264, USA (with the mailing address potentially being 7661 on the same road), presents itself as a dual-purpose community. You can contact them at (760) 327-5417 or +1 760-327-5417 to inquire about the availability of RV spots or mobile homes and to gather more information about the park.
Based on recent customer feedback, Ramon Mobile Home & RV Park has undergone a significant change in management within the last six months, which appears to have been well-received by at least one resident. This reviewer enthusiastically notes that the "new management is easy to work with and has worked to make the park an ever better place!" This suggests a positive shift in the park's operational dynamics and a proactive approach to improving the living environment for residents. For individuals seeking "RV parks near me" where responsive and helpful management is a priority, this recent change could be a significant positive factor to consider.
The same positive review also highlights several appealing aspects of the park. It is described as "clean, friendly and affordable when you consider how close you are to downtown and other amenities." The cleanliness of the park contributes to a more pleasant living environment, while a friendly atmosphere fosters a sense of community among residents. The affordability, especially in relation to its proximity to downtown Palm Springs and other conveniences, makes Ramon Mobile Home & RV Park a potentially attractive option for those seeking value and accessibility.
Palm Springs is renowned for its vibrant downtown area, offering a variety of restaurants, shops, cultural attractions, and entertainment options. Living in Ramon Mobile Home & RV Park provides the benefit of being conveniently located to these amenities, potentially reducing transportation costs and increasing access to leisure activities. This central location could be a major draw for those seeking "RV parks near me" that offer both a residential setting and easy access to urban conveniences.
However, another customer review presents a more critical perspective, particularly concerning the mobile home aspect of the park. This reviewer mentions "strange rental prices" that were inconsistent and difficult to understand until the point of purchase. This feedback might be more relevant for those considering buying a mobile home within the park rather than simply renting an RV spot. The same reviewer also describes the park as "a very congested place with no parking whatsoever," which could be a significant drawback for residents and visitors alike, especially those with larger vehicles or multiple cars. The congestion could also potentially impact the overall sense of space and comfort within the park.
The critical review concludes by suggesting that "there are much better mobile home places in Palm Springs," which implies that prospective residents might want to explore other options before settling on Ramon Mobile Home & RV Park, at least for mobile home living. However, this opinion does not directly address the experience of RVers or the impact of the new management on the overall park environment.
For individuals specifically searching for "RV parks near me" for long-term stays, it is crucial to inquire about the availability and size of RV spots, the hookups provided (water, electricity, sewage), and the associated costs. Given the mention of congestion and parking issues, it would be wise to ask about parking arrangements for RVs and any restrictions on vehicle sizes. The positive feedback regarding the new management's efforts to improve the park suggests that some of the previous concerns might be being addressed, but it is essential to verify this through direct inquiry.
When contacting Ramon Mobile Home & RV Park, prospective residents should ask about the specific amenities offered to both mobile home and RV residents. These might include laundry facilities, communal areas, recreational spaces, or Wi-Fi access. Understanding the full range of services available will help in evaluating the overall value and suitability of the park for your needs.
The fact that the park is named "Ramon Mobile Home & RV Park" explicitly indicates that it caters to both types of accommodations. This suggests that there should be infrastructure and policies in place for RVs. However, the contrasting reviews highlight the importance of getting up-to-date information directly from the management, especially regarding the impact of the recent changes and the current conditions within the park.
In conclusion, Ramon Mobile Home & RV Park in Palm Springs, CA, offers a potentially convenient location close to downtown and amenities, and recent changes in management have been positively received by at least one resident. The park is described as clean, friendly, and affordable in this context. However, another review points out potential issues with rental price transparency for mobile homes and describes the park as congested with parking limitations. For those searching for "RV parks near me" or considering mobile home living here, it is crucial to contact the new management at (760) 327-5417 or +1 760-327-5417 to inquire specifically about RV accommodations (if available), current parking arrangements, and the overall environment under the new management. Visiting the park to assess the conditions firsthand would also be a valuable step in making an informed decision.

The park changed management in the last six months and wow what a difference! The new management is easy to work with and has worked to make the park an ever better place! The park is clean, friendly and affordable when you consider how close you are to downtown and other amenities.
Feb 05, 2025 · Brian Williamsstrange rental prices. they were all over the map and you couldn't really figure out what you were going to be charged until you bought or tried to buy one of the mobile homes. it was a very congested place with no parking whatsoever. there are much better mobile home places in Palm Springs.
Feb 05, 2025 · Charles WilcoxImagine living in Palm Springs and not paying 1.6 million to not have party walls! Ramon Park is for those of us who love our small homes and value privacy. It's quiet, the views are breathtaking and management responsive. We are all grateful to live here and can't imagine living anywhere else.
Apr 08, 2023 · Alba ConteThis park is poorly managed and the lack of upkeep and proper maintenance is showing as the park is looking very run down. Lack of proper pool maintenance has been an ongoing concern. There are some lovely residents in the park as well as a number of troublemakers - but that is anywhere in life. However, there are some super charming homes here that gives it a funky vibe. The abundance of palm trees and the million dollar views of the location provide a beautiful backdrop and the location cannot be beat.
Jul 20, 2021 · John Mark HegnaRamon Park is a lovely, unique, special place, full of people who care about the park and each other. As in any community, there are a few disgruntled people, but any visit to the park will find a vibrant happy community, people working very hard to improve and individualize their slices of paradise, and a manager who has devoted 11 years to improving and refining the park. Moreover, in the past couple of years, there have been a number of upscale mobile homes brought into the park. Every time I look out my windows and see the mountains, I feel blessed and proud to live there.
