Red Bay RV Park Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" in Red Bay, Alabama? Red Bay RV Park, located at 820 4th Ave SW, Red Bay, AL 35582, presents itself as a practical and budget-friendly option for RV travelers. Based on the available customer reviews, this park offers ease of access, level sites, and reliable service, particularly noted for its suitability for those visiting the Tiffin Motorhomes factory for repairs.
One of the key advantages highlighted by reviewers is the ease of logistics at Red Bay RV Park. Guests have found it "easy to arrive, depart and make a reservation." This streamlined process can be particularly appealing to travelers who value efficiency and a hassle-free experience. Whether you're planning your stay in advance or arriving somewhat spontaneously, the ease of check-in and check-out can contribute significantly to a positive overall impression.
The physical layout of the park is also mentioned favorably. The sites are described as "level gravel sites." Level sites are crucial for RVers as they ensure that their vehicles are parked correctly, allowing appliances and systems to function as intended. Gravel sites offer a stable surface and can help with drainage, contributing to a cleaner environment compared to grass or dirt, especially during wet conditions. The combination of levelness and gravel suggests a well-maintained and practical setup for RV parking.
Another significant draw of Red Bay RV Park is its affordability. One reviewer explicitly states that the park is "very affordable." For budget-conscious travelers, finding a clean and functional RV park that doesn't break the bank is always a welcome discovery. This affordability, coupled with the other positive aspects, makes Red Bay RV Park a compelling option for those mindful of their expenses.
Red Bay, Alabama, is notably the home of the Tiffin Motorhomes factory. For Tiffin owners visiting the "mothership" for repairs or service, the location of Red Bay RV Park appears to be particularly convenient. One reviewer specifically mentions staying at this park when taking their Tiffin in for repairs. This suggests that the park is likely located within a reasonable distance of the Tiffin factory, making it a logical choice for those undergoing service work.
A standout feature mentioned in the context of winter stays is that Red Bay RV Park "still has the water turned on" during the colder months. This is a significant benefit, as some RV parks in more temperate climates may shut off water to prevent freezing during winter. The reliability of having water available year-round adds to the park's appeal, especially for those who might be staying in Red Bay during the off-season for service appointments or other reasons.
Furthermore, the owner, Ronald, is commended for his dedication to the park's upkeep. The reviewer notes that Ronald "tours the park every day to ensure that everything is working and fixes it immediately if not working." This proactive approach to maintenance and the owner's visible presence provide a sense of security and assurance for guests. Knowing that any issues will be addressed promptly can greatly enhance the peace of mind of travelers.
In summary, Red Bay RV Park offers several key benefits for local users and those visiting the Red Bay area:
- Easy Arrival, Departure, and Reservations: Streamlined processes for a hassle-free experience.
- Level Gravel Sites: Providing a stable and practical parking surface for RVs.
- Affordable Rates: Making it a budget-friendly option for travelers.
- Convenient for Tiffin Repair Visits: Likely located near the Tiffin Motorhomes factory.
- Reliable Winter Water Service: Ensuring access to water even during colder months.
- Proactive Owner and Maintenance: Ronald's daily park tours and immediate attention to issues ensure a well-functioning environment.
Based on these points, Red Bay RV Park appears to prioritize the essential needs of RV travelers: a functional site, necessary utilities, and reliable management, all at an affordable price. The positive mentions of ease of use and the owner's commitment to maintenance suggest a park that is well-run and focused on providing a good experience for its guests.

Red Bay RV Park Reviews
Great place to stay when we come to Red Bay. Easy to arrive, depart and make a reservation. Level gravel sites and very affordable.
Feb 08, 2025 · Nicole GregoRed Bay RV Park is a great place to stay in Red Bay, AL. When you take your Tiffin to the mothership for repairs, we stay at this park. One of the reasons why is because during the winter it still has the water turned on and Ronald the owner tours the park every day to ensure that everything is working and fixes it immediately if not working. Also, the price is right.
Mar 08, 2022 · LINDA JENKINSON (Jersey Devil)Red Bay RV park is clean easy-to-use affordable everything works and a nice breeze blows through it when it's 100 degrees in the shade. We had a great All American view as pictured here. God Bless America!
Jul 22, 2017 · Terri RittenhouseThis is a large, no-frills campground, but the great thing is it’s easy to get in and out of their sites. There is plenty of room to turn around and park even the biggest of RVs. There are full 30 and 50 amp hookups in each site. The water pressure is excellent so plan on using a pressure regulator! This is a “self service” campground so you can’t make reservations and will need to complete your registration upon your arrival. Be advised that there are only 22 sites available.
Feb 06, 2024 · JW EibeckNo frills, which was ok with us. Level sites, FUP, and very clean and quiet in a nice country setting.
