Red Bay Self Service RV Park Introduce
For local users and travelers seeking practical and conveniently located "RV parks near me" in Red Bay, Alabama, the Red Bay Self Service RV Park, situated at 717 4th St W, Red Bay, AL 35582, USA, offers a straightforward and efficient camping solution. Based on customer reviews, this RV park prioritizes functionality and ease of use, particularly for those in Red Bay for RV service or accessing local amenities.
The overarching sentiment from reviewers is that Red Bay Self Service RV Park is an ideal choice for individuals visiting Red Bay for service on their campers. It is described as a "no frills, very clean campground" that provides essential full hookups at each of its ten sites. This suggests a focus on providing the necessary utilities without extensive additional amenities, catering to those who primarily need a comfortable and functional base while in the area for other purposes, such as RV maintenance or repairs.
One of the key features highlighted in the reviews is the park's self-service model. Upon arrival, guests can simply pull into one of the ten available sites and set up their RV. Payment is then made via check or cash, deposited in a designated small building located on the property. This system offers flexibility and ease of arrival, particularly for those arriving outside of traditional office hours. The availability of weekly rates also provides a cost-effective option for longer stays.
The location of Red Bay Self Service RV Park is consistently praised for its convenience. Its proximity to the Tiffin Service Center is a significant advantage, with reviewers noting that it is within walking distance. This makes it an exceptionally convenient option for Tiffin RV owners seeking service or repairs, allowing them to stay close to their coach without the need for transportation to and from a more distant campground. Additionally, a grocery store is located less than half a mile from the RV park, providing easy access to essential supplies for campers.
Another frequently mentioned benefit is the quiet atmosphere of the campground. This tranquility can be particularly appealing for those seeking a peaceful stay while their RV is being serviced or while taking a break during their travels. The park's policy regarding site reservation is also noteworthy. If guests leave the campground during the day with their RV, they can indicate that their site is reserved by using a "Reserve/Open" sign located at each site. This simple yet effective system ensures that their spot is held upon their return, adding to the convenience and peace of mind for campers.
The strategic location of Red Bay Self Service RV Park further extends to its accessibility to other RV-related services in the area. It is described as being an easy in and out to reach not only the Tiffin Service Center but also 1st Class Glass and various other local repair, maintenance, and detailing shops. This makes it a central and practical base for RV owners needing a range of services in Red Bay, minimizing travel time and maximizing convenience.
Pricing is also highlighted as a significant advantage, with reviewers noting the "excellent pricing" and the option to pay daily or by the week. This flexibility caters to different lengths of stay and provides budget-conscious travelers with an affordable option in a potentially service-heavy area for RVs.
For those concerned about connectivity, the reviews indicate positive experiences with both Google Fi routers and Starlink satellite internet service. While one reviewer noted that Starlink reception might be restricted on some sites due to trees, the general indication is that internet access is feasible at the park. This is an important consideration for many modern travelers who rely on internet for communication, work, or entertainment.
Pet owners will also appreciate the mention of a "nice little area for dog walking." This suggests that the park is pet-friendly and provides a designated space for walking dogs, an essential amenity for those traveling with their furry companions.

Mar 05, 2024 · Kenneth DavisGreat location in Red Bay, easy walk to a couple of good food options. Easy in and out to get to Tiffin Service, 1st Class Glass, or any of the other local repair, maintenance, or detail shops. Excellent pricing, pay daily or by week. Trash dumpsters available and all sites include full hookups. My Google Fi router and Starlink both worked great, though Starlink is restricted on some sites due to trees. Nice little area for dog walking also.
Sep 05, 2023 · TL CooperGreat location to everything you would need while in Red Bay, or getting service with Tiffin. Nice gravel lot, sites are level and hook ups are very clean and well taken care of. Easy in and out with for motorhome and toad, there is an entrance in the front and rear of the park. Self service offcie only takes cash or check, we were in town for some work on our Tiffin and wasnt sure how many days we would be in town. We paid for our site before check out time each day other than the day of our service appointment at 8am. We left for our apppointment and the service didnt take as long as we thought, came back to the park to hook up our toad and change our reserved sign to open and come to find out someone had already changed it before check out time. I can understand if it was after check out time and we hadnt paied for that night, but it was well before check out time and we got no phone call to see if we needed the site anouther night. Over all great park and we will be back for sure, nightly rate $25.00 night for full hook and awesome water pressure.
Aug 07, 2020 · Benjamin HepnerWe stayed here while waiting for our coach to be worked on. The staff was nice. I think you'll need to be a Tiffin owner within the one year warranty period of your coach to stay at this RV park.
