Based on feedback from individuals who have stayed at Sequoyah RV Park, a recurring theme is its peaceful and quiet atmosphere. One reviewer described it as a "nice little quiet place," emphasizing its suitability for relaxation. This serene environment can be a significant draw for RVers seeking respite from the noise and activity often associated with more bustling locations. If a calm and tranquil setting is high on your priority list when looking for "RV parks near me," Sequoyah RV Park warrants consideration.
A notable feature of Sequoyah RV Park, as highlighted by a reviewer, is its proximity to the nearby nuclear plant. The park is situated across the road from the facility, making it exceptionally convenient for individuals who are contracting or working at the plant on a temporary basis. For those whose search for "RV parks near me" is specifically driven by work assignments at the nuclear plant, Sequoyah RV Park offers an ideal location, minimizing commute times and providing a comfortable living arrangement close to their job site.
The environment of Sequoyah RV Park is described as "all out in the open" with "no trees or shaded areas." This is an important factor to consider, particularly during the warmer months. RVers who prefer shaded campsites might find this aspect less appealing. However, for those who prioritize open skies for satellite reception or solar power, or who simply don't mind being in an open environment, this might not be a significant drawback. It's essential to be prepared for potentially sunny conditions when staying at Sequoyah RV Park, especially during the heat of the day.
Despite the lack of natural shade, Sequoyah RV Park does offer a valuable amenity for pet owners. Reviewers mention a "big open area you can play with your dog or walk around in." This dedicated space allows RV travelers with canine companions to exercise their pets comfortably and safely. Furthermore, the park provides "a few Dog waist station throughout the Rv Park," indicating a commitment to maintaining a clean and pet-friendly environment. For those searching for "RV parks near me" that cater to the needs of their furry friends, the presence of a dog park and waste stations is a significant advantage.
While the reviews provide insights into the quiet atmosphere and the pet-friendly open space, they do not offer specific details regarding other services and features typically found in RV parks. When looking at "RV parks near me," potential amenities that RVers often inquire about include the availability and type of hookups (e.g., water, electricity, sewer), the quality of these hookups, the presence of Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, restrooms, and showers. Information regarding the size and accessibility of the RV sites, whether they are pull-through or back-in, and the overall layout of the park is also usually important for those planning a stay.
The reviews also do not mention any recreational facilities or activities within the park itself, apart from the open area for dogs. While one reviewer noted that there is "nothing to do here but relax," this suggests that Sequoyah RV Park primarily serves as a comfortable and quiet place to park and stay, rather than a destination with extensive on-site entertainment options. For RVers who prioritize peace and quiet over a wide array of activities within the park, this might be perfectly acceptable. However, those seeking more active recreational opportunities might need to explore attractions and activities in the surrounding Soddy-Daisy area.
Information regarding promotional offers or special rates at Sequoyah RV Park is not available in the provided reviews. Many "RV parks near me" offer discounts for extended stays, military personnel, or seniors, as well as seasonal promotions. To ascertain if Sequoyah RV Park has any such offers, it would be necessary to contact them directly using the provided phone numbers.
In conclusion, Sequoyah RV Park in Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee, appears to be a "nice little quiet place" that is particularly convenient for individuals working at the nearby nuclear plant. It offers an open environment with a dedicated space and waste stations for dogs, making it a pet-friendly option. However, it lacks natural shade due to the open layout, and the reviews suggest that on-site activities are limited. For those seeking a peaceful and straightforward RV parking solution, especially if working at the nuclear plant, Sequoyah RV Park is worth considering. To obtain more detailed information about services, site availability, and potential promotions, contacting the park directly is recommended.
When searching for "RV parks near me," it's crucial to weigh the features and environment of each park against your individual needs and preferences. Sequoyah RV Park's quiet atmosphere and pet-friendly amenities might be ideal for some, while others might prioritize shade or a wider range of on-site facilities. Sequoyah RV Park Reviews
Nice little quiet place. Nothing to do here but relax. It's across the road from the nuclear plant so it's great for those of us who contract in to work at the plant temporarily.
Apr 14, 2025 · Rachael SmithNice quiet area to stay at. It’s all out in the open. No trees or shaded areas. They do have a big open area you can play with your dog or walk around in. They have a few Dog waist station throughout the Rv Park. Overall loved staying here.
Jun 13, 2023 · Esli WymanGreat place to spend time while working. Quiet and Lisa is always available by text. Downside no wifi and laundry room needs work.
Jan 12, 2025 · Janice WolfeVery unprofessional park management in specific her name is Lisa. Management does not answer calls. Hard to get in contact to pay bills which leads to late payment fees and being threatened to cancel reservations. Find another place to stay! Electric bills are through the roof. 0/10 recommend.
Oct 06, 2024 · Christina LinebargerAs Troy said they don’t mow every other week. Like another person said they didn’t weedwack by the septic system and was grown to the knees. We did find a few ticks, probably due to the grass not being kept short. We did have our canopy out and no one complained. There isn’t enough room for two vehicles to park on the concrete, but you can’t park on the grass. It is very open and can run and play. As another said rules are broken by others but must be followed by you. The power wires do buzz as someone else stated, but we didn’t hear them inside. Electric is very high. $.19 per kw if I recall correctly. We did get our deposit back but only $20. Hard to believe a camper used $200 in electricity. They do have washers and dryers that work fine. Very quiet, never heard of or saw any suspicious stuff going on. Most rigs are nice, there were a couple of broken down ones that shouldn’t be able to stay. Overall, I would stay again.
