Suburban Pointe Mobile Home Park Introduce
For local individuals and families in Lexington, Kentucky, exploring residential options within the category of "rv parks near me," Suburban Pointe Mobile Home Park, located at 312 Betsy Ln, Lexington, KY 40511, USA, presents a long-established community with a mix of positive attributes and areas of concern. With a history spanning at least two decades for some residents, Suburban Pointe has undergone changes, particularly with new ownership, leading to both improvements and criticisms.
One long-term resident, who has lived in the park for approximately 11 years, offers a generally positive perspective, noting significant improvements over time. These positive changes include the addition of a new park, which is described as a "nice place to spend the evening," suggesting a valuable amenity for recreation and relaxation within the community. Furthermore, the park has seen upgrades to its infrastructure, with roads being cleaner and better illuminated due to the installation of new streetlights. These enhancements contribute to a safer and more pleasant environment for residents, especially during the evening hours.
The sense of community among residents is also highlighted as a positive aspect. The reviewer mentions that the people are generally friendly, fostering a welcoming atmosphere within the park. While acknowledging a past negative encounter with an unfriendly individual who has since moved, the overall impression is one of a neighborly and agreeable community. This social aspect can be a significant draw for those seeking a sense of belonging in their residential environment.
Regarding the condition of the mobile homes themselves, the assessment is somewhat varied. The reviewer notes that trailers appear to be in good shape both inside and out, but this is contingent on the individual residents and how they maintain their properties. This suggests a degree of variability in the aesthetic appeal of the park, depending on the upkeep of individual homes. However, the overall impression is that many residents take pride in their homes, contributing to a generally well-maintained appearance of the community.
Suburban Pointe is also described as a peaceful environment, particularly in the mornings, making it conducive for activities such as walking or taking dogs for walks. The possibility of occasionally encountering local wildlife, such as opossums or stray cats (referred to as "outst or tray"), which are generally friendly, adds a touch of nature to the suburban setting. This peaceful atmosphere can be a significant benefit for those seeking a quieter residential environment away from the hustle and bustle of more densely populated areas.
However, not all feedback regarding Suburban Pointe is entirely positive. One review, while acknowledging that the "trailer park looks good" and mentioning a "wonderful" park for children, raises a serious concern about the treatment of older residents under the new ownership. This review suggests that some older individuals may be facing exploitation or unfair treatment, which is a significant issue that potential residents, particularly seniors or those with elderly family members, should consider. This allegation of taking advantage of older people is a serious point of contention and warrants careful consideration.
Another area of disappointment highlighted by a long-term resident is the condition of the dog park. Described as "kind of pathetic," the dog park is characterized as a small, fenced area of approximately 30 ft by 30 ft with only a bench as an amenity. For pet owners, especially those with dogs that require more space for exercise and play, this limited dog park facility may be a significant drawback. The discrepancy between the positive improvements in other areas of the park and the underwhelming dog park suggests an area that could benefit from further attention and development.
In summary, Suburban Pointe Mobile Home Park in Lexington, KY, offers a community that has seen positive changes in recent years, including a new park, improved lighting, and a generally friendly atmosphere. It provides a peaceful environment, particularly appealing for morning walks and pet owners, although the dog park is noted as inadequate. However, potential residents should be aware of a serious concern raised regarding the treatment of older residents under the new ownership. The park appears to be family-friendly, with a notable playground for children, but the alleged exploitation of seniors is a significant factor that cannot be overlooked.
For local individuals and families exploring "rv parks near me" for long-term living in Lexington, Suburban Pointe Mobile Home Park, reachable by phone at (859) 252-2020 or +1 859-252-2020, presents a community with both appealing features and potential drawbacks. The improvements to the park's infrastructure and the friendly neighborly environment are positives. However, the serious allegation of taking advantage of older residents and the disappointing state of the dog park are significant considerations that prospective residents should weigh carefully before making a decision. It would be prudent for interested parties to inquire further about the management's practices and the overall well-being of the senior residents within the community to gain a comprehensive understanding of the living environment at Suburban Pointe.

Suburban Pointe Mobile Home Park Reviews
My mother lives in the trailer park and has for 20 years the trailer park looks good but they take advantage of the older people since the new owner took over that is the only thing. The park for the kids is wonderful.
Oct 21, 2024 · Stephanie MidkiffBeen living here almost 11 years and I love it here, this place has changed a lot but it's been for the better the most recent changes are the new park, it's a nice place to spend the evening. The roads are clean and more lit up with the new street lights and the people are friendly I've only seen a Karen onec but she moved a while ago . The trailers are in good shape inside and out but there are still some that are in bad or meh condition it depends on type of person living in them. It's very peaceful espically in the morning for going on a walk or taking your dog on a walk and you might sometimes see an outst or tray but they are usually friendly the only disappointing this is the dog park it's kind of pathetic imagine a 30 ft by 30 ft fence with a bench in it
Sep 14, 2024 · Yahir ReyesLove living here but there is a walnut tree that is the bane of my existence! It is right over my lot line. Half the tree is actually over my trailer. Every yeah my trailer gets attacked by the falling walnuts. Not to mention the extra yard work it leaves us. I am always afraid it will damage my trailer. Management will not rove the tree.
Jul 16, 2024 · Jennifer ToledoPretty small venue. Gets really hot in there. Restroom is nice. Place is very clean.
Jun 22, 2024 · Brenda OlveraLast UPDATE: 2017Great place to live. Great trailer park compared to other ones in Lexington and Georgetown. Those ones are way trashier. This one is kept clean. Everything is great but one thing. People think it’s nice to park and block the road when picking up their children from school or when picking up the mail. People have places to go.UPDATE:10/25/22This place is still kept clean, lots of friendly neighbors. But it has declined in safety over the past 3 years. There has been cases of people coming from other areas of Lexington to steal peoples property. Make sure you have cameras on your property and don’t let anything outside that is vulnerable to steal.
