Yorktowne Mobile Estates Association Introduce
For local users in the Winchester, Kentucky area who are searching within the category of "RV parks near me," Yorktowne Mobile Estates Association, located at 441 Mt Vernon Dr, Winchester, KY 40391, USA, presents a complex and somewhat concerning picture based on the limited customer feedback available. While the platform category might initially suggest short-term recreational vehicle stays, it's important to understand that Yorktowne Mobile Estates Association primarily functions as a long-term residential community for mobile homes. Individuals interested in short-term RV parking should directly contact the association at (859) 744-8361 or +1 859-744-8361 to inquire about their services and availability for recreational vehicles.
The customer reviews for Yorktowne Mobile Estates Association offer starkly contrasting perspectives, indicating a potentially inconsistent living experience within the community. One detailed review expresses significant dissatisfaction, stating unequivocally, "If I told you this was a good neighborhood that would be a lie." This strong negative opening sets the tone for a litany of serious concerns raised by the reviewer.
A primary issue highlighted is the alleged lack of maintenance on the trailers within the park. The reviewer estimates that about a quarter of the trailers are "super run down" and attributes this to a lack of upkeep. This lack of maintenance purportedly leads to residents leaving the park. The reviewer even mentions seeing a dilapidated trailer, allegedly from Yorktowne, elsewhere, suggesting a long-term neglect of some properties within the community. This raises concerns about the overall aesthetic and potentially the safety and structural integrity of some of the homes within the park.
The second major concern raised pertains to the behavior of some residents. The reviewer describes some residents as "really rude" and recounts two alarming incidents: an alleged attempted assault by a neighbor residing in a blue trailer on Williamsburg against a 17-year-old (the reviewer's brother) and an alleged assault on the reviewer themselves by someone from the trailer park in a different location (Treehaven, though the connection to Yorktowne is made). These allegations of aggressive behavior and safety concerns are serious and should be carefully considered by prospective residents.
The reviewer also mentions the size of Yorktowne Mobile Estates Association, noting that it is "a little too small" compared to another trailer park, Treehaven. While acknowledging this isn't the association's fault, they suggest that expansion might be beneficial, especially considering reported renovations. This comment doesn't necessarily reflect negatively on the park itself but offers a comparative perspective on its size.
Finally, the negative reviewer points out an alleged lack of care for a park area in the upper corner of the community, describing it as having "trash everywhere," including nerf darts and candy wrappers. The reviewer emphasizes that littering is illegal and subject to a significant fine, suggesting a potential disregard for community upkeep in certain areas and a lack of enforcement of cleanliness standards.
Despite these significant criticisms, the reviewer concludes that "Overall, this trailer park isn’t the best but not the worst place I had ever been," indicating a nuanced perspective acknowledging some potentially neutral or slightly positive aspects not detailed in the review.
In stark contrast to this detailed negative review, another reviewer expresses a positive sentiment, stating, "I just love this place. It's nice and quiet and far enough away from Winchester that you can actually get some peace 😉." This positive feedback highlights the potential for a peaceful and tranquil living environment, possibly due to the park's location outside of the immediate vicinity of Winchester. This suggests that the experience of living in Yorktowne Mobile Estates Association can vary significantly among residents.
Considering the platform category "RV parks near me," the serious allegations of safety concerns and the description of run-down properties and littering may deter individuals seeking short-term RV accommodations. Cleanliness, safety, and a well-maintained environment are typically priorities for RV travelers. However, the positive comment about a quiet environment might appeal to some seeking a more secluded temporary stay, provided the park accommodates RVs and addresses the other concerns.
For local users in Winchester, KY, who are considering Yorktowne Mobile Estates Association for long-term residency, the contrasting reviews present a significant dilemma. The positive review suggests a quiet and peaceful setting away from the city, which could be attractive to those seeking tranquility. However, the detailed negative review raises serious red flags regarding maintenance, resident behavior, and the upkeep of the community. The allegations of assault and the presence of run-down trailers and litter are significant concerns that prospective residents must carefully consider.
Due to the severity of the negative feedback, prospective residents are strongly advised to conduct thorough due diligence before considering Yorktowne Mobile Estates Association. This should include contacting the management to address the concerns raised in the reviews, particularly regarding safety, maintenance, and community rules enforcement. Visiting the community in person is crucial to assess the current conditions, observe resident interactions, and evaluate the overall environment. Speaking with current residents (if possible) beyond the limited online reviews could provide further insights into the day-to-day living experience and help reconcile the conflicting opinions.
Information regarding specific services and features of Yorktowne Mobile Estates Association is limited in the provided reviews. The negative review mentions a lack of maintenance on trailers and litter in a park area, implying potential shortcomings in community upkeep. The positive review highlights the quiet environment. Details about on-site management, community amenities, or other services are not provided. Prospective residents should inquire about these aspects directly from the management.
No specific promotional information or incentives are mentioned in the provided reviews. Local users interested in any potential promotions or special offers should contact the association directly.
In conclusion, for local users searching under the category of "RV parks near me" but considering long-term mobile home residency in Winchester, KY, Yorktowne Mobile Estates Association presents a situation with significant potential drawbacks based on one detailed negative review citing lack of maintenance, rude residents, safety concerns, and littering, contrasted by a single positive review highlighting a quiet and peaceful environment. Prospective residents must exercise extreme caution, conduct thorough personal investigation, and seek direct clarification from the management and current residents before making any decisions regarding residency.

Yorktowne Mobile Estates Association Reviews
If I told you this was a good neighborhood that would be a lie. First off, there is no maintenance on these trailers and about a quarter of them are super run down. Since no one works on these trailers that results in people leaving the trailer park, form what I know I saw this trailer on the merger between Bunker hill-Constitution drive and it looks so run down it probably hadn’t been fixed in 25 years. Second, some of the residents are really rude. We have a neighbor in the blue trailer on Williamsburg that tried assaulting a 17 year old boy (Which was my big brother) and I got assaulted by someone from this trailer park (that happened in Treehaven.) I feel like there needs to be something down to calm down the residents. Third and last, this trailer park is a little too small, I’m not saying this is tiny or anything but compared to Treehaven this trailer park isn’t that big, of course it’s not their fault but I’m pretty sure it would be nice to expand a little bit since they had been renovating this trailer park this last few years but a little bonus, they do not care about the park in the upper corner of the trailer park, last time I went there there was trash everywhere from nerf darts to whole candy wrappers. There needs to be something done about that since littering is illegal and lands you a $500 fine.Overall, this trailer park isn’t the best but not the worst place I had ever been.

Mar 05, 2024 · Nicole Lane-SimonsonHave owned my home here for 8 years and except for some mischievous kids it has been a quite and respectful place to live. There is a park in the center for the younger children. There is a nice place to walk in the center of of the park for the adults.
Feb 02, 2018 · Bill Marcumlived here for 3 yrs, I am a renter. I have had ZERO problems w/police for myself or anyone that lives here. This is truly the nicest mobile home estate in town. I have had nothing but compliments on the community that I live in.
Nov 25, 2015 · mary wiseI lived here as a teenager and it was really nice back then, now it's still by far the best trailer park in the city of winchester but it has its issues. The bored refuses to do anything when a lady who is staying with her daughter liturally screams and yells at children, calls kids with autism the "2 retarded kids" and then will sit on the porch all day and nod out... the old lady and her grandson have had the cops out here on them no less then 10 times in the year I have been back. My wife and I have 5 kids between the two of us and we can't let the older kids go out and play on the deck my dad and I built that is the length of the house because we are afraid the lady will start screaming at them and I will end up having to go off on her and that's something I don't want to do. But other than her and her family my other neighbors are very quite and respectful. The roads could use a little tending to and the park could have a few more things added to it. We pay a decent amount of dues but yet they still closed the pool, the basketball goals are old and raggedy and don't even have nets. Oh another good thing is now you are able to submit plans and build onto your home, have a garage and even have a huge shed. Back when Cora Whitt was the chair person of the board only she could fix her place up nicely while the rest of us couldn't have crap unless you bribed her or something. But thank sweet baby jesus she is gone because if it would have still been her I don't care how good of a deal I got my house for I would have passed lol. But all and all its a trailer park that has some older places that the rent is cheap on so it attracts low income families with 13 kids who they let run wild, it also has some of the most beautiful places I've seen that should be somewhere else lol. They keep the park clean and the grass mowed, they have nice little holiday events for the kids, you can rent the clubhouse for birthday parties and a lot more that make it a not so bad place.
