Adams Pointe Mobile Home Park Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Richmond, Kentucky area, Adams Pointe Mobile Home Park, located at 1312 Boonesborough Rd, Richmond, KY 40475, USA, is an option to consider. You can reach them at (859) 623-7630 or +1 859-623-7630 for inquiries. However, it is crucial to approach this option with a comprehensive understanding based on the available customer reviews, which highlight several significant concerns that potential RV visitors should be aware of.
Several reviewers have expressed considerable dissatisfaction with various aspects of Adams Pointe Mobile Home Park. A recurring theme in the feedback is the issue of increasing costs. One resident who had been there for just over 18 months reported two increases in lot rent from the original amount. Furthermore, they mentioned the addition of mandatory cable and internet services that residents did not necessarily want. This is a significant consideration for those seeking predictable and transparent pricing among "RV parks near me." The fact that residents were charged for internet service they did not receive for months, and have yet to see a promised credit, suggests potential issues with billing and customer service.
Communication and management responsiveness appear to be areas of concern as well. The same reviewer noted that "you can't get in touch with anyone except Mike, and no offense to him but he can't do anything and has no answers for anyone." This indicates a potential bottleneck in communication and a lack of empowerment for the available point of contact to resolve issues. For RV travelers who may require assistance or have concerns during their stay, this could be a significant drawback when compared to other "RV parks near me" with more accessible and responsive management.
Safety within the park is another serious issue raised by residents. The reviewer mentioned that "Dogs always running loose and jumping on people and kids." This lack of enforcement regarding pet control can create an unsafe and uncomfortable environment for those who are not comfortable around unrestrained animals. More alarmingly, the reviewer stated that "People speed through here, a kid actually got hit in a hit and run by the mail boxes a couple months ago." This is a severe safety concern that potential visitors must consider, especially if traveling with children or pets. The absence of sidewalks further exacerbates pedestrian safety issues within the park.
Infrastructure and maintenance also appear to be problematic. The reviewer mentioned that "The driveways are very small," which could pose challenges for maneuvering and parking RVs, especially larger ones. Additionally, they described an incident where improperly sealed water lines led to a mice infestation in their home, highlighting potential issues with the initial setup and maintenance of utilities. The update from the same reviewer regarding their five-bedroom house with a two-car driveway further illustrates the parking limitations, with one of their three drivers having to park outside the park across the main road. This lack of adequate parking could be a significant inconvenience for RV travelers with multiple vehicles or those towing trailers.
Another reviewer corroborated the issue of inconsistent rule enforcement, stating, "As long as you’re on the front row of trailers, you will follow the rules, they don’t care about what the rest of the people do." This suggests a potential bias in how park rules are applied, which can lead to frustration and a lack of fairness within the community. For RVers seeking a community with consistent and equitable rules, this inconsistency could be a deterrent.
Further negative feedback includes allegations of arbitrary rate increases and the addition of services without consent, as stated by another reviewer: "They raise rates on a whim, And will even add services, along with their bills, without your consent." This lack of transparency and unilateral changes to billing can create financial uncertainty for residents and potentially RV guests staying for extended periods.
Maintenance responsiveness is also criticized, with one reviewer stating, "Have a maintenance issue? Let them know, then remind them constantly because it’s definitely in one ear, right out the other." This suggests a lack of proactive maintenance and a potentially slow or unreliable response to repair requests, which can be a significant inconvenience for RV travelers who may encounter maintenance needs during their stay.
Finally, a concerning comment regarding security was made: "Have anything of value? Better chain it down." This implies a potential lack of security within the park, which is a serious consideration for anyone entrusting their valuable RV and belongings to a location. This sentiment contrasts sharply with the desire for a safe and secure environment when choosing among "RV parks near me."
Considering these numerous negative reviews, potential RV travelers searching for "RV parks near me" in the Richmond, Kentucky area should exercise significant caution when considering Adams Pointe Mobile Home Park. The concerns raised by residents regarding rate increases, mandatory and unwanted services, communication and management responsiveness, safety issues related to speeding and loose animals, inadequate parking, maintenance problems, inconsistent rule enforcement, and potential security concerns paint a concerning picture. While the park's location might be convenient, the potential drawbacks appear to outweigh any perceived benefits based on the currently available feedback.
There is no positive feedback available in the provided reviews to counterbalance these serious concerns. Therefore, it is impossible to offer any promotional information or highlight positive features based on the current data. Instead, the objective assessment based on the "real customer" reviews strongly suggests that prospective RV visitors should thoroughly investigate these issues further and perhaps consider alternative "RV parks near me" in the Richmond, KY area that have more positive and consistent feedback regarding management, safety, maintenance, and overall resident satisfaction.
In conclusion, while Adams Pointe Mobile Home Park is located in Richmond, Kentucky, the available reviews raise significant red flags regarding its management practices, safety, maintenance, and overall living conditions. Potential RV travelers are strongly advised to proceed with extreme caution, conduct thorough due diligence, and explore other options for "RV parks near me" in the area that may offer a more reliable, safe, and satisfactory experience. Contacting the park directly at (859) 623-7630 or +1 859-623-7630 may provide further information, but the concerns raised in the reviews should be carefully considered.

Adams Pointe Mobile Home Park Reviews
We've been here just over 1 1/2 years and our lot rent has went up twice from the original amount. They added the cable and Internet that no one wanted, we didn't have service for months but still had to pay. We've been told we would get a credit but have yet to see it. You can't get in touch with anyone except Mike, and no offense to him but he can't do anything and has no answers for anyone. The driveways are very small and there are no sidewalks. There are Dogs always running loose and jumping on people and kids. People speed through here, a kid actually got hit in a hit and run by the mail boxes a couple months ago. When our water lines were connected they didn't seal the holes in the floor so we had mice and just finally figured out how they were getting in. I wanted to love it here when we bought our home but it has been one thing after another since we moved in, and don't get me started on the poor craftsmanship of the brand-new home we bought through them.Update: we have a 5 bedroom house and a 2 car driveway, we pay $596 for rent/internet and we have asked for a bigger driveway, we have 3 drivers in our home and now one of our drivers is having to park outside of the park across the main road. And we still have not heard anything about the credit for when we were charged for the internet we did not have.

Jul 01, 2024 · Loopy LlamasIt's a joke living here. Making homeowners pay for spectrum on a monthly basis even if we don't want it. Do not move here. Leaving as soon as I can. It's A JOKE. Edited to your response.. I understand your point but there's a lot of elderly people who do not want nor never had internet nor the cable package you have added. They don't have a computer and some have never had cable. They can't afford it or understand it. But now they are obligated to pay for services they will never use and live on a tight budget. Food and medicine first now they probably will have to do without. I have personally talked to dozens of people here that didn't even get a notice about all of this stuff. Just seen the added amount on our lot payment. Had to go to office to get info. Some people suppose to have received the info on their door but more didn't, and for the Hispanic people that live here it was not even translated into English. So they had no idea. Just all around a poor decicision for most of us in the park. The lot rent has increased every year I have lived here. Forcing so many to leave. Now this. As soon as I find a place I am moving my trailer or selling it. The lot rent is a mortgage payment for us.
Aug 07, 2024 · Connie Chivers Bryant-SotoLove this place. Great neighborhood. Well kept Manager’s a good person who cares about people and the community. Best area for working couples. Like a triangle for work. Close to Lexington,Richmond and Winchester. Berea and Irvine in close proximity. Modern homes and the surrounding homes are kept in good condition. If you look for a reasonably priced home. Then hurry on over. There going fastFloydwm
Jul 02, 2024 · Floyd MooreI live on the RV side , since Oct 2023. It's been a great place to live, however corporate decided to put Internet in and we have no choice but pay an extra $65 a month! That is wrong they call it an amenity. That's not an amenity. I have internet already and I don't need spectrum internet. I live on a budget, It's completely wrong to force people to pay for something they either already have or can't afford! I'm livid right now. My other complaint would be the $26 you are charged to pay your rent online by debit. I've never been charged a fee like that with any bill I pay. I think corporate should pay my fee when I'm charged for terminating my Internet from T-Mobile early, because I can't afford to pay for two internet services.
