Bradbury Pointe Mobile Home Park Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Richmond, Kentucky area, Bradbury Pointe Mobile Home Park, located at 111 Bradbury Pointe Dr, Richmond, KY 40475, USA, is a mobile home park that you might be considering. You can contact them at (859) 625-0959 or their mobile number +1 859-625-0959 to inquire about the availability of RV sites and the services offered.
However, it is crucial to carefully consider the recent feedback from residents of Bradbury Pointe Mobile Home Park before making any decisions, especially if you are looking for a long-term RV stay. The available reviews paint a concerning picture regarding increasing costs, mandatory services, and the overall maintenance of the community.
One long-term resident, who has lived in the park for five years, reports a consistent increase in lot rent over that period. They mention that the rent is being raised again to include Spectrum cable and internet services, which they do not want. This reviewer believes that the park's management should prioritize addressing issues with the roads, driveways, and trees before implementing what they perceive as another "scam to add to profit." This suggests potential dissatisfaction with the management's priorities and the value received for the increasing cost of living in the park.
Another resident expresses strong frustration with the escalating lot rent and the introduction of mandatory Spectrum services. They state that the lot rent was raised by $20 in January and is now being increased by another $20, bringing the base lot rent to $435 per month. Adding to their financial burden, the management is now making Spectrum internet and cable mandatory at an additional $65 per month, regardless of whether residents want or use the services. This brings the total mandatory monthly cost to $500, including services "NOT ASKED FOR," even if refused.
This resident poignantly describes the financial hardship they are facing, resorting to inexpensive meals to save money and expressing despair at the inability to afford the additional $65 for unwanted services. They feel forced to consider selling their home due to these increasing and compulsory costs. The reviewer also mentions that rent is raised twice yearly, further exacerbating the financial strain on residents.
In addition to the financial concerns, this resident also highlights significant issues with the park's infrastructure, stating that "our driveways and porches are crumbling to pieces." They strongly advise against moving a trailer to Bradbury Pointe, explicitly naming "Flagship Communities" as the owner of the park and noting that they own at least 95 other mobile home parks. The reviewer's overall sentiment is one of being taken advantage of, particularly in a difficult personal situation following the loss of their husband and the inability to afford what they consider "LUXURIES" like internet and cable.
Considering this feedback, individuals searching for "RV parks near me" should be extremely cautious about choosing Bradbury Pointe Mobile Home Park for anything beyond a very short-term stay, and even then, should inquire thoroughly about all potential fees and service requirements. The reviews indicate a trend of increasing costs, mandatory services that may not be desired, and a lack of attention to essential infrastructure maintenance.
For potential RV visitors, these issues could translate to:
- Unexpected Mandatory Fees: Even if you do not require cable and internet, you might be forced to pay for them as part of your site rental if the policy extends to RV guests.
- Poor Infrastructure: Crumbling driveways and potentially poor road conditions within the park could make navigating and parking an RV difficult.
- Lack of Investment in Basic Amenities: The focus on adding revenue-generating services without addressing fundamental infrastructure issues might indicate a general lack of investment in the park's upkeep.
- Potential for Frequent Rate Increases: The history of consistent and twice-yearly rent increases for mobile home residents could suggest a similar trend for RV site rentals.
Before considering Bradbury Pointe Mobile Home Park further, it is imperative to contact them directly and ask very specific questions regarding their policies for RV guests:
- Availability and Cost of RV Sites: Inquire about the daily, weekly, or monthly rates for RV sites and if these rates include any mandatory services like cable and internet.
- Hookup Facilities: Determine the types of hookups available at the RV sites (e.g., water, electricity – specify amperage – sewer) and if there are any additional charges for these services.
- Site Conditions and Access: Ask about the condition of the RV sites and the roads within the park. Inquire about driveway conditions and accessibility for RVs of different sizes.
- Amenities for RV Guests: Find out if they offer any specific amenities for RV travelers, such as restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, or a dump station, and if there are any fees associated with their use.
- Pet Policies and Vehicle Restrictions: Clarify their policies on pets and any restrictions on the number or type of vehicles allowed at an RV site.
- Utility Billing: Understand how utilities are billed for RV sites and if there are any mandatory service packages.
- Rate Increase Policies: Inquire about their policies regarding rate increases for RV sites and how often they occur.
Given the strong negative sentiment expressed by the mobile home residents regarding increasing costs and mandatory services, it would be wise for RV travelers to exercise extreme caution. The potential for unexpected and unwanted charges, coupled with concerns about the park's infrastructure, makes Bradbury Pointe Mobile Home Park a potentially unfavorable option for those seeking "RV parks near me" in Richmond, KY.
It is highly recommended that you thoroughly research other RV parks and campgrounds in the Richmond area that have more positive and transparent feedback regarding their pricing, services, and overall maintenance. Do not hesitate to contact multiple locations and compare their offerings before making a decision that could significantly impact your travel budget and comfort.
In conclusion, while Bradbury Pointe Mobile Home Park is located in Richmond, KY, the recent and consistent negative feedback from residents regarding increasing costs, mandatory unwanted services, and deteriorating infrastructure should be a significant warning for potential RV visitors. Thorough due diligence and exploration of alternative RV parks in the area are strongly advised.

Bradbury Pointe Mobile Home Park Reviews
Lot rent has gone up consistently since I moved in 5 years ago, now they are increasing it again to include spectrum. A service I don't want. The roads, driveways, and trees should be dealt with before another scam to add to profit.
Jul 02, 2024 · Sandy TackettI am so sick of this mobile home park. I haven't got my head above water and now they are raising lot rent $20 more dollars after raising it $20 in January bringing lot rent to 435$ a month now and for an extra screw you they are now making spectrum internet and cable MANDATORY at $65 a month to be added to our park services bill making lot rent now $500 to including services NOT ASKED FOR, even if we refuse the service!!! I literally could cry. I have eaten Spam and chips every night, except for a few, to save money. There is absolutely no where for me to pull this money from...so I guess I have to sell!!!! I really could just cry, another cherry and this one was a triple cherry, wouldve been great with slots!Rent is raised two times yearly. Our driveways and porches are crumbling to pieces. DO NOT MOVE YOUR TRAILER HERE. This place is owned by Flagship Communities and they own at least 95 mobile home parks. Frigging joke! I just lost my husband and internet, and cable are LUXURIES I can't afford at the moment!!!
Jul 01, 2024 · april Schulz (CloudStalker)They have upped the rent 3 times in the 4 years we have lived here to "better the park" not once have we had trees trimmed or our roads repaved and our driveways and roads are awful. dixie plaza has upped their rent once and is cheaper than Bradbury and they have repaved their roads once a year and use the money for exactly what they say they will and it shoes when driving through their park. Dixie also allows fences and pools etc. Bradbury does not allow this at all.
Aug 16, 2018 · Dakota BellRent is to high, they don't mantain the park with the money they charge but charge highest in all the places. $300 month lot rent and Dixie plaze is $180 a month and they pave the road yearly excetera. here they won't even get the trees trimmed in time before they'll come through your roof and made a handicapped lady have to pay her own driveway so she could just wheelchair up to her porch.
Dec 29, 2018 · Dakota BellIf I had it to do over again I would NOT have moved in here! Lot rent is out of control and you get nothing for it! Corporate is the greediest people I've seen!
