Sunset Vista Manufactured Home Community Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Magna, Utah area, Sunset Vista Manufactured Home Community, located at 8460 West, 8460 Sunset Hills Dr, Magna, UT 84044, USA, is primarily a residential area for manufactured homes. While its focus is on this type of housing, individuals seeking longer-term RV stays might consider such communities. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of Sunset Vista Manufactured Home Community based on the available customer reviews, highlighting aspects relevant to potential RV residents.
The environment surrounding Sunset Vista Manufactured Home Community is the town of Magna, situated in the Salt Lake Valley, west of Salt Lake City. Magna offers a more suburban and potentially quieter setting compared to the bustling city center, with views of the Oquirrh Mountains. Residents of Sunset Vista could potentially benefit from Magna's local amenities and its proximity to the greater Salt Lake City area for additional services and employment. Within the manufactured home community itself, one review notes that it is "Mostly quiet," which could be appealing to those seeking a peaceful living environment. However, another significant point raised is the issue of the single exit, which reportedly gets "a tad backed up in the morning," potentially causing inconvenience for residents during peak hours. There is no information available regarding landscaping, communal green spaces, or the overall aesthetic of the community.
Information regarding specific services and features offered by Sunset Vista Manufactured Home Community for RVs is not explicitly provided in the reviews. Typically, manufactured home communities offer essential utilities such as water, electricity, and sewage hookups for their residents. For individuals considering this community for RV living, it is crucial to determine if these utilities are compatible with RV connections and if there are designated spaces suitable for RVs. Furthermore, inquiries should be made about waste disposal facilities, laundry services, and any other amenities that are typically important for RV dwellers. One concerning review mentions a lack of road plowing during winter, which could be a significant issue for RVs, especially during colder months. The same review also highlights potential issues with management practices, including continuous rent increases, substantial late fees ($50 per day after a 5-day grace period), and aggressive towing policies, even for vehicles under repair. These points are critical for any potential resident, including those in RVs, to consider. The review also mentions alleged failures by the management to uphold their end of HOA responsibilities while strictly enforcing rules on residents, such as grass maintenance and house skirting replacements. It is essential to directly contact the management at (801) 250-4739 or +1 801-250-4739 to clarify the availability of RV accommodations and the specific services and policies that would apply to RV residents.
Features of Sunset Vista Manufactured Home Community that can be gleaned from the limited reviews present a mixed picture. The "Mostly quiet" environment is a potential positive for some. However, the single exit, leading to morning traffic congestion, is a notable drawback. The very high lot rent, while acknowledged in the context of the overall high housing costs in the Salt Lake Valley, is a significant feature that prospective residents must consider. The negative review paints a concerning picture of management practices, including strict enforcement of certain rules coupled with alleged neglect of community responsibilities, as well as punitive late fees and aggressive towing. These potential issues could significantly impact the living experience for any resident, including those in RVs. It is crucial to seek clarification and further information from the management regarding these concerns and to understand all rules and regulations before making any decisions.
No specific promotional information for Sunset Vista Manufactured Home Community is available in the provided text. Manufactured home communities may occasionally offer incentives for new residents or highlight specific amenities. However, given the critical feedback in one of the reviews, potential residents should prioritize obtaining detailed information about the costs, rules, and management practices rather than looking for promotional offers. It would be prudent to inquire about the current lot rent for RV spaces (if available), the terms of any lease agreements, and all associated fees, including late fees and any potential charges related to parking or maintenance.
In conclusion, Sunset Vista Manufactured Home Community in Magna, Utah, presents a seemingly quiet environment but raises significant concerns regarding management practices, including rent increases, late fees, towing policies, and the fulfillment of community responsibilities. The single exit causing morning traffic is another factor to consider. For individuals searching for "RV parks near me," it is imperative to approach Sunset Vista with caution. Thorough due diligence, including direct and detailed communication with the management at (801) 250-4739 or +1 801-250-4739, is absolutely essential to clarify the availability of RV accommodations, understand all applicable rules and policies, and address the serious concerns raised in the customer review. Potential RV residents should carefully weigh the reported quiet environment against the potential drawbacks related to management and infrastructure before considering Sunset Vista Manufactured Home Community as a viable option.

Sunset Vista Manufactured Home Community Reviews
DO NOT 🚫 move to Sunset Vista. They don't plow the roads, the rent increases continuously, (and is $50 per day it's late after the 5 day grace period), they have contracts with towing companies that will tow your vehicle, even when it's being repaired, and even when they don't hold up to THEIR end of the HOA garbage, they'll sure harass you for allowing your grass to grow or not having the money to replace house skirtings.
Mar 09, 2025 · Jason MeinhartMostly quiet. I wish their were two exits, as the single exit gets a tad backed up in the morning. Lot rent is very high, but with housing costs in the Salt Lake Valley being so ridiculous, you don't have another choice.
Dec 31, 2024 · Rajaat99It’s a dump, over priced lot fees, with the loud train that makes way too much noise and blows its horn all hours of the night. And a swimming pool that's hardly ever open because the tenants poop in it. Update- the gun range is now gone, but now you have a whole city behind it! Traffic is a mess trying to pull out of the trailer park. It needs to have a light installed otherwise forget making a left-hand turn!
