Terrace (Office) Introduce
Welcome, local residents and those searching for "rv parks near me" in the Camby, Indiana area. Terrace (Office), located at 6879 E Hadley Rd, Camby, IN 46113, USA, and reachable by phone at (317) 520-4776 or +1 317-520-4776, presents itself as a mobile home park that may also accommodate RV living. As you explore your options for RV parks and potential long-term living situations in our community, it's crucial to consider various factors, including the environment, available services, unique features, and the experiences shared by current and former residents. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of Terrace (Office) based on the information available.
Regarding the environment of Terrace (Office), the provided reviews offer contrasting but ultimately positive perspectives. One current resident describes the community as "quiet," even comparing it to "camping," which suggests a peaceful and potentially less densely populated atmosphere. They also note that the "neighbors seem friendly," contributing to a positive sense of community. Another reviewer mentions that it was "very pleasurable to stand outside and enjoy the fall weather" and that the park was "quiet" and felt "safe," particularly highlighting a significant improvement over the past three years. These comments suggest a generally tranquil and neighborly environment that has seen positive development. However, the first reviewer also points out some negative aspects of the physical environment, specifically "the roads" being in poor condition and "the dumpsters" having a history of overflowing, although an improvement was noted with waste management service. The lack of a park or play area for children is another environmental consideration mentioned. Despite these drawbacks, the overall sentiment regarding the peace and safety of the community appears positive, especially with recent improvements.
The services and amenities at Terrace (Office) are partially described in the provided reviews. The positive comments about "nice" and "not nosey" office staff suggest a positive management presence and a straightforward process for getting situated in the community. The mention of overflowing dumpsters, while a negative aspect, indicates the provision of waste management services, and the observation of a recent service suggests that this issue may be addressed. However, the lack of a park or playground indicates a potential absence of recreational facilities for children. The first reviewer also mentions the challenges with internet service in the area, specifically advising against using Hughnet. While the park itself may not provide internet, this is a crucial consideration for potential residents. The fact that the rent prices are perceived as "a little high" for older model trailers without central air and with potentially limited parking is another service-related aspect to consider, as it relates to the value proposition of living in the community. Despite some shortcomings in infrastructure and amenities, the positive interactions with the office staff and the sense of community appear to be significant service aspects.
Several features of Terrace (Office) can be gleaned from the reviews. The quiet atmosphere, likened to camping, is a notable feature that may appeal to those seeking a peaceful living environment. The friendliness of the neighbors contributes to a positive community feel. The responsive and non-intrusive office staff is another positive feature mentioned. The significant improvement in the park over the last three years, leading to a feeling of safety, suggests a positive trajectory and responsive management. However, the poor condition of the roads, the past issues with overflowing dumpsters, the lack of a park or playground for children, the challenges with internet service in the area, and the perceived high rent for older units with limited amenities are features that potential residents should carefully consider. The first reviewer's concluding remark, "don’t judge a book by its cover," suggests that despite some visible shortcomings, the underlying community and management have positive aspects. The ongoing improvements mentioned in the second review indicate a potential trend towards a more desirable living environment.
The promotional aspects of Terrace (Office), based on the provided reviews, would focus on the quiet and peaceful atmosphere, the friendly neighbors, and the helpful and non-intrusive office staff. The reported significant improvement in the park over the last three years, leading to an increased sense of safety, is also a key positive development to highlight. While the high rent for older units and the infrastructure issues (roads, lack of a park) are drawbacks, the positive community spirit and the improving conditions could be attractive to certain individuals or families seeking a quieter, more community-oriented environment despite some physical limitations. Potential promotional messaging might emphasize the peaceful setting, the friendly neighbors, the positive management interactions, and the ongoing improvements within the park. It would be crucial to acknowledge the existing infrastructure challenges while highlighting the positive community aspects and the trend of improvement. Local users looking for "rv parks near me" who prioritize a quiet, friendly community with improving safety might find Terrace (Office) appealing, provided they are willing to accept some of the current physical limitations.
For local residents in the Camby, Indiana area searching for "rv parks near me," Terrace (Office) presents a mixed but potentially improving option. The quiet atmosphere, the friendly neighbors, and the positive feedback regarding the office staff are significant draws. The reported increase in safety over the past three years suggests a positive direction for the community. However, the poor condition of the roads, the lack of a park for children, and the perceived high rent for older units are important considerations. Potential RV residents should weigh the value of a peaceful and friendly community against the infrastructure limitations and cost. The advice to "not judge a book by its cover" suggests that there may be more to the community than initially meets the eye. Local users who are willing to look beyond some of the physical shortcomings and value a quiet, friendly, and improving environment may find Terrace (Office) to be a worthwhile option to explore further.
In conclusion, Terrace (Office) in Camby, Indiana, offers a mobile home park that may also accommodate RV living, characterized by a quiet atmosphere, friendly neighbors, and helpful office staff. The community has reportedly seen significant improvements in safety over the last three years. However, potential residents should be aware of the poor condition of the roads, the lack of a park or playground for children, and the perceived high rent for older model trailers with limited amenities. While there are some physical limitations, the positive community spirit and the trend of improvement may appeal to those seeking a peaceful and friendly "rv park near me." Local users are encouraged to visit the property, speak with current residents and the office staff, and personally assess whether the positive community aspects outweigh the existing infrastructure challenges and cost considerations.

Terrace (Office) Reviews
It’s quiet almost reminds me of camping neighbors seem friendly only thing bad is the roads and the dumpsters have been overflowing since I moved in but I did see the waste management pull in today so maybe it won’t be anymore and there isn’t any park or anything for kids to do here I looked up rent prices for here seems a little high for old 70-80’s model trailers that from what I can tell by driving around doesn’t have great parking no park and busted roads no central air. Also if you’re looking for internet service out here good luck and don’t use hughnet worst service ever! But overall office staff here are nice they aren’t nosey and all up in your business 24/7 the process to get it is pretty simple and like I said having a nice community of neighbors and good office staff makes this place worth the stay I promise. Like the old saying goes don’t judge a book by its cover.
Jan 26, 2024 · Chelsea HendleyThis park has improved tremendously over the last 3 years. It was very pleasurable to stand outside and enjoy the fall weather. It was quiet and I felt safe. That's a far cry from 3 years ago.

Feb 20, 2025 · Erik LomasLived here for a while .. It was decent loved the location and loved the owners. It had gotten taken over by the new owners and my ex tore up my title and paper work that I had , lost my job at that time and was trying to get assistance to pay my rent but the new owner refused to get me my lease so I could pay them. So they evicted me and my 4 children , not to mention my water was never hooked up the whole time I was there .. I would have to go to my mothers house to shower and give my kids baths. I lost the trailer that I OWNED & was putting all of my money into plus almost everything inside . as I was trying to move things other tenants of the park broke in my home and took alot of mine and my children's things. The new owner seemed nice and all and its a wonderful area but the people who live/lived there are trash. And she could have given me my lease so I could have gotten her the rent but wasn't trying to help at all .. And left me and my children with no place to go and with hardly nothing left
Oct 06, 2021 · Ashley CulverI think it's what you make it you see trash I see treasure. I didn't see any mold. It's better than paying a 1000 a month on a house that you can't stand your neighbors so bad that when you see them outside you wait for them to leave. At least there you can just scream at each other and who cares! So I suggest we all together now go get a trailer and spend our money on doing fun things.
