Tiger's Trail RV Resort Introduce
Looking for "RV parks near me" that offer a vibrant and convenient experience in Baton Rouge, Louisiana? Consider Tiger's Trail RV Resort, located at 15001 River Rd, Baton Rouge, LA 70820, USA. Situated in close proximity to the Louisiana State University (LSU) campus and major retail areas, Tiger's Trail RV Resort appears to be a well-appointed park with a range of amenities and a welcoming atmosphere, according to some online reviews. However, it's important to consider all feedback to get a balanced perspective.
One enthusiastic reviewer describes Tiger's Trail RV Resort as a "Must visit!" and highlights its "Great spacious RV park" featuring "friendly staff and lots to do." This positive feedback suggests that the resort offers ample space for RVs, contributing to a comfortable and uncrowded feel. The mention of "lots to do" implies the presence of various on-site activities or convenient access to nearby attractions, catering to a diverse range of interests.
A particularly noteworthy feature mentioned in the positive review is "a bar by the pool." This amenity adds a resort-like feel to the RV park, offering a social and recreational space for guests to relax and enjoy refreshments. The proximity to the "LSU campus" is also a significant advantage for those visiting the university for events, tours, or to be close to students. Furthermore, the convenience of being "near major stores" ensures easy access to shopping, groceries, and other necessities during your stay.
The friendly and helpful nature of the staff is also commended, with a specific mention of "Sandy" being "very kind and helpful." Positive interactions with park staff can greatly enhance the overall guest experience, making visitors feel welcome and supported throughout their stay. The five-star rating given by this reviewer further reinforces their positive assessment of Tiger's Trail RV Resort.
However, it is crucial to consider all available feedback to form a comprehensive understanding. Another reviewer shared a less positive experience, detailing a situation where they had to leave earlier than planned due to a family emergency and were not offered a refund for the remaining nights. While acknowledging previous positive stays ("had had stayed there multiple times before and never an issue"), this guest expressed disappointment with the handling of their situation and the fact that the "pool" was unusable ("cloudy") during their trip. This negative experience led them to state they "will probably never stay here again," highlighting the importance of consistent service and clear policies regarding cancellations and refunds.
The contrasting reviews illustrate that while Tiger's Trail RV Resort offers appealing amenities and has provided positive experiences for some guests, there can be instances where expectations are not met. The spaciousness of the RV park, the friendly staff (as highlighted by one reviewer), and the attractive features like the pool with a bar are definite pluses. The convenient location near LSU and major stores also adds to its appeal, making it a practical choice for various types of travelers.
However, the negative review raises concerns about the park's policies regarding refunds for early departures and the maintenance of amenities like the pool. It's important for potential guests to inquire about these policies and the current status of amenities when making a booking. While one reviewer had multiple positive experiences before this particular incident, the lack of flexibility in the cancellation policy and the issue with the pool clearly impacted their overall satisfaction.
To gain a more complete picture of Tiger's Trail RV Resort, prospective guests should consider contacting the park directly to inquire about their specific needs and concerns. Questions regarding cancellation and refund policies, pool maintenance schedules, the availability of specific amenities, and any current promotions would be beneficial. Reaching out to the park at (888) 901-4050 or +1 888-901-4050 will allow you to get the most up-to-date information and make an informed decision based on your individual circumstances.
The location in Baton Rouge places Tiger's Trail RV Resort within easy reach of numerous attractions, dining options, and entertainment venues beyond the LSU campus and major stores. Baton Rouge, as the state capital, offers a rich cultural scene, historical sites, and vibrant local experiences. Staying at Tiger's Trail RV Resort could provide a convenient base for exploring all that the city and the surrounding region have to offer.
In conclusion, Tiger's Trail RV Resort appears to be a well-located RV park in Baton Rouge with spacious sites and appealing amenities such as a pool with a bar. The friendly staff, as mentioned by one reviewer, can also enhance the guest experience. However, it is essential to be aware of potential drawbacks, such as the lack of refunds for early departures and the possibility of amenity issues like a cloudy pool, as highlighted by another guest. For those seeking "RV parks near me" in Baton Rouge, Tiger's Trail RV Resort warrants consideration, but it is advisable to contact the park directly to clarify their policies and the current status of all amenities to ensure a satisfactory stay.

Apr 28, 2025 · Paul ParraviciniWe booked to stay 7 nights and had to leave on 4th day we got a call regarding family emergency in North Carolina. My husband went into the office and explained our situation and they didn’t even offer a refund. On this trip you couldn’t use the pool cause it was so cloudy to top it off. We had had stayed there multiple times before and never an issue. Will probably never stay here again.
May 05, 2025 · Brandy VincentPulled into Baton Rouge late afternoon looking for a place to stay for one night and came upon this gem. More of an upscale resort, new and very very nice. Upon pulling in, the staff in the office were so friendly and helpful right off the bat! They booked us in and gave us info on things to do in town and places to eat. The bathrooms and shower house were the nicest I’ve ever seen in a campground. Very clean, white and bright. The pool area looked amazing with a lazy river and a hot tub although it was raining when we stayed and we didn’t use it at all. Seen pickle ball courts too! Looks like a great place would definitely come back and stay again! 👍
Dec 07, 2024 · Klettberg KbergTiger's Trail is a wonderful addition to Baton Rouge! We have stayed here several times and each time is better than the last. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. The property is clean and the RV spots are spacious. The store in the clubhouse is so convenient and the pool area is heavenly! We will be back for sure!
Dec 06, 2024 · Candice DStayed in luxury cabins with loft for a week. Very spacious in these for a few people. Wouldnt recommend 6 as it could get tight. The first one we stayed in was nice but had to move because shower would not drain. No big deal. The other cabin was just as nice. We rented a golf cart for $75, thinking it was for our stay. nope, that is per day. That was the only dissappointing thing as there website does not mention per day only qty. Really hope they fix that as it is very misleading. Other than those few hickups, it was a very nice stay. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful. I read some of the reviews while there and did not see any of the rudeness. Everyone I encountered went above and beyond to help me. 5 stars if they fix there website golf cart rental wording to days not qty.
