Ventura Park Introduce
For local residents in Fort Valley, Georgia, who may be searching within the category of "RV parks near me" but are interested in long-term residential options, Ventura Park, located at 575 Taylors Mill Rd, Fort Valley, GA 31030, USA, offers a mobile home community. It is important to clarify that while the search category might include "RV parks," Ventura Park primarily serves as a permanent living environment for manufactured homes rather than a temporary campground for recreational vehicles. For inquiries about residency, you can contact Ventura Park at (478) 825-8056 or via mobile at +1 478-825-8056.
Based on the limited but insightful feedback from current residents, we can begin to paint a picture of the environment, potential services, and features of Ventura Park for local users considering making it their home.
Environment and Community: A Mixed and Generally Safe Neighborhood
One long-term resident of Ventura Park describes it as a "very nice little area" and notes that it is a "mixed neighborhood with no issues I saw." This suggests a diverse community where residents of different backgrounds live together harmoniously. The fact that a resident lived there for several years and only had positive observations regarding the neighborhood dynamics speaks to a potentially stable and welcoming environment for new residents.
The same reviewer also highlights the safety of the area, mentioning that "people don't drive through all crazy either so it's safe for kids to ride their bikes." This is a significant positive for families with children, indicating a level of traffic awareness and respect within the community that contributes to a safer environment for outdoor activities.
Another reviewer describes the park as "somewhat quiet," which can be appealing to those seeking a peaceful residential setting. While not explicitly stated as completely silent, the "somewhat quiet" nature suggests a community that generally prioritizes a calm living environment.
The mention of a Dollar General that unfortunately closed next to the park indicates a degree of convenience that residents previously enjoyed. While the store's closure is a loss, its former presence suggests that the location on Taylors Mill Rd might offer proximity to other local amenities and services in Fort Valley.
One resident's reflection, "Took me years to realize that I should have never moved," implies a level of satisfaction with the community and the lifestyle it offered, even after experiencing living elsewhere. This sentiment can be a strong indicator of the positive aspects of Ventura Park as a place to reside.
Potential Services and Infrastructure: Supporting Residential Needs
While the provided reviews do not explicitly detail the services and infrastructure available at Ventura Park, we can infer some likely offerings based on the nature of mobile home parks:
- Lot Rentals: Residents would lease individual lots within the park to place their manufactured homes. The rental fee typically covers the land and some basic services.
- Utility Hookups: Each lot would likely be equipped with connections for essential utilities such as water, electricity, and sewer. Residents are usually responsible for their individual utility consumption.
- Waste Management: The park would have a system in place for the collection and disposal of residents' waste.
- Road Maintenance: The internal roads within the park would be maintained for accessibility and safety.
- Park Management: An owner or manager would be responsible for the overall operation of the park, addressing resident concerns, and enforcing park rules.
Local users interested in living at Ventura Park should directly inquire about the specifics of these services, including what is covered in the lot rental fee and how utilities are managed.
Features and Community Aspects: Beyond the Basics
The reviews offer some insight into the community dynamics at Ventura Park. The mention of the owner being "a little nosy" and potentially causing some frustration for the maintenance person (presumably her son) suggests a small, family-run operation where the owner takes a personal interest in the park. While some might perceive "nosiness" negatively, it could also indicate a level of attentiveness and involvement in the community's well-being.
The comment about "people very gossipy" introduces a potential social dynamic within the park. While gossip can be a negative aspect of any close-knit community, it might also indicate a high level of interaction and familiarity among residents. Local users should consider their own preferences regarding community interaction levels.
Beyond these personal observations, the reviews do not mention specific amenities such as clubhouses, playgrounds, or laundry facilities. This suggests that Ventura Park might be a more basic mobile home community focused primarily on providing residential lots and essential infrastructure rather than extensive recreational or communal features. However, the safe environment for children to bike and the generally quiet atmosphere can be considered valuable features in themselves.
Promotional Information and Why Choose Ventura Park:
For local residents in Fort Valley seeking a long-term housing solution within a mobile home park setting, Ventura Park offers a "very nice little area" with a "mixed neighborhood" and a reputation for being generally safe and "somewhat quiet." The long-term resident's positive reflection on their time there suggests a level of contentment and a sense of belonging that can be appealing to those looking to establish a stable living situation.
The location on Taylors Mill Rd, while having lost its adjacent Dollar General, likely still provides reasonable access to other amenities and services in Fort Valley. The safe environment for children and the quiet atmosphere contribute to a potentially family-friendly and peaceful residential experience.
Potential residents should be mindful of the comments regarding the owner's personality and the potential for gossip within the community, as these social dynamics can influence one's living experience. However, for those who value a diverse and generally safe neighborhood with a quieter pace of life, Ventura Park may be a worthwhile option to explore.

Ventura Park Reviews
Lived here a few years. The lady who owns it can be a little nosy cause she's old I guess. I think she runs her son up the wall a little too. He's like the maintenance guy. It's a very nice little area. It's a mixed neighborhood with no issues I saw. Wished that dollar general didn't close next to it. People don't drive through all crazy either so it's safe for kids to ride their bikes. Took me years to realize that I should have never moved. I had to live some though.

Nov 02, 2022 · Alexander CasillasThe civilian neighbors are nice, but the landlord really had horrible bedside manners, this is the last resort to move to if no other options are available
Mar 08, 2019 · Marcus LearyI wouldn't live there, seen worse, seen better. Kind of messy looking.
