Village Pines MHP Introduce
For local users in the Carrollton, Georgia area exploring options within the "RV parks near me" category, Village Pines MHP, located at 708 Lowell Rd, Carrollton, GA 30116, USA, presents a mobile home park that has also accommodated RVs. However, it's crucial to note that the provided reviews focus on experiences that may be pertinent to both RVers and potential mobile home residents, highlighting aspects of the environment, management style, and community atmosphere that prospective users should carefully consider.
When searching for "RV parks near me" or considering a longer-term stay in a mobile home park, individuals typically evaluate factors such as the physical environment, the services and amenities offered, the specific features of the community, and the overall management and resident interactions. Based on the limited but impactful reviews available for Village Pines MHP, a detailed examination of these aspects is essential for local users to form an objective understanding.
The Environment: Ant Infestation and Potential Lot Conditions
A significant environmental concern raised by multiple reviewers is a "serious problem with ants." One reviewer stated that their RV would become "FILLED with little black ants" that were "EVERYWHERE," making it impossible to leave anything on the stove. Another corroborated this, mentioning that you "can't leave anything on the stove of the rv because it will be full of ants in a matter of minutes." This pervasive pest issue appears to be a major drawback and could significantly impact the comfort and hygiene of residents, whether in RVs or mobile homes. Potential local users should consider the implications of such an infestation and inquire about any pest control measures in place.
Regarding the physical condition of the lots, one reviewer described their lot as not being "the nicest" in the first place. While this is a subjective comment, it suggests that the aesthetic appeal or upkeep of some areas within the park might be less than ideal. This could be a factor for those seeking a visually pleasant living environment within the "RV parks near me" category or for long-term mobile home residency.
Services and Amenities: Limited Information with Potential Restrictions
The provided reviews offer limited information about specific services and amenities typically found in RV parks or mobile home communities, such as laundry facilities, communal areas, or organized activities. The focus of the reviews is primarily on interactions with management and issues encountered during their stay.
However, the reviews do shed light on certain implicit restrictions or management behaviors that could be considered a form of "service" – or lack thereof – from a resident perspective. One reviewer recounted being told to leave "right now" after having a barbecue until 9:30 pm on a Saturday night due to a complaint from a relative of the owners living on the property. This suggests potentially strict noise regulations and a seemingly immediate and forceful enforcement style. Another reviewer mentioned complaints about their dog barking, with the owners calling a friend instead of directly addressing the issue with the resident. These instances point to a potentially reactive and confrontational management approach.
The first reviewer also mentioned setting up their internet after paying for a month, implying that residents are responsible for their own internet services. This is common in many RV and mobile home parks, but it's a detail for prospective users to note.
Features: Management Style and Community Atmosphere Concerns
The dominant "feature" emerging from the reviews is the perceived negative interaction with the owners. One reviewer explicitly stated, "Owners hate children," recounting instances of frequent complaints about their children playing outside, even for short durations. This paints a picture of a potentially unwelcoming environment for families with children. The reviewer also described the owners as "rude" and mentioned being asked to leave without a clear reason after less than a week, despite having paid for a month and established internet service. This raises concerns about the fairness and transparency of the management's interactions with residents.
The second review further reinforces concerns about the owners' demeanor, describing the female owner as "very disrespectful" and the relative who complained about the barbecue as "too" much. The reviewer also used strong language, suggesting a highly negative and confrontational interaction. The accusation of racism is a very serious claim that potential residents should be aware of, although it is a subjective interpretation based on the reviewer's experience.
The incident involving the barbecue also highlights a potential lack of tolerance for typical weekend social activities, which could impact the sense of community and enjoyment for residents who value such interactions. The immediate demand to leave on the same night suggests a rigid and unforgiving approach to rule enforcement.
The overall community atmosphere, as perceived through these reviews, appears to be strained by the management's alleged behavior and strict enforcement, potentially leading to a less welcoming and more restrictive living environment.
Promotional Information: No Promotions Mentioned, Focus on Caution
The provided reviews do not contain any information about promotional offers, discounts, or special rates for Village Pines MHP. Given the strongly negative experiences shared, the focus for potential local users should be on proceeding with extreme caution and seeking further information or alternative options within the "RV parks near me" category.
Prospective residents, whether for RV stays or mobile home living, should prioritize gathering more comprehensive and recent feedback from a wider range of sources before considering Village Pines MHP. Visiting the property in person and attempting to speak with current residents (if possible) could provide valuable insights that go beyond these limited online reviews.
Connecting Local Users with "RV Parks Near Me": A Note of Caution
When local users in Carrollton, GA search for "RV parks near me," Village Pines MHP might appear as a potential option due to its categorization or address. However, the overwhelmingly negative experiences highlighted in the available reviews serve as a significant red flag. These accounts suggest potential issues with management conduct, strict and seemingly arbitrary rule enforcement, pest infestations, and a potentially unwelcoming atmosphere, particularly for families with children or those who enjoy social gatherings.
While the platform category aims to provide options for RV parking and related services, it is crucial for users to critically evaluate the information available about each listing. In the case of Village Pines MHP, the current online feedback strongly advises potential users to exercise caution and thoroughly investigate the current living conditions and management practices before committing to a stay, whether short-term in an RV or longer-term in a mobile home.
Local users might find more suitable and positively reviewed options within the "RV parks near me" category in the Carrollton area by expanding their search and carefully reading multiple reviews for each potential location.
Conclusion: Proceed with Significant Caution Based on Available Feedback
Based on the limited but strongly negative reviews, Village Pines MHP in Carrollton, GA appears to present significant challenges for potential residents, whether in RVs or mobile homes. The allegations of hostile management towards children and guests, strict and seemingly unreasonable rule enforcement, and a pervasive ant infestation are serious concerns. While the park might offer a location, the reported negative interactions and environmental issues suggest a potentially unpleasant living experience. Local users searching within the "RV parks near me" category should carefully consider these accounts and are strongly advised to seek additional information and explore alternative RV parks or mobile home communities in the Carrollton area that have more positive and consistent feedback regarding management, environment, and overall resident experience. Proceeding with Village Pines MHP without thorough further investigation would be a significant risk based on the currently available information.

Village Pines MHP Reviews
Owners hate children. Always complaining if mine were out playing. They could be out there literally 15 mins and there would be a complaint. I wouldn’t say this was the nicest lot in the first place. But the owners are just rude. We weren’t even here for a week and they want to kick us out! After paying for a month and setting up our internet. We have been in so many Rv parks in the last 12 years and this is a first for us. They wouldn’t tell us a good reason on why they didn’t want us there. Probably because we didn’t actually break any rules except she just didn’t want the kids. Also, get ready for your Rv to be FILLED with little black ants! They are EVERYWHERE! Would give this place 0 stars if I could. But 10/10 would NOT recommend!
Aug 15, 2024 · Amanda LongThey have a serious problem with ants. You can't leave anything on the stove of the rv because it will be full of ants in a matter of minutes. We had a bbq on a saturday night until 9:30 pm and a relative of the owners who lives in the house in front made a tremendous scandal because he wants to sleep (at 9:30). The owners came and told us we have to leave the same night (like right now). She pointed her fingers at us more than once and she referred to us aggressively and without respect. They complaint that my dog was barking. And they called a friend, instead of calling me to give them the complaint about the situation. The owner ( the lady not the husband) is very disrespectful and the relative too and for me they are racist. I understand that they have their rules, but having a bbq on a saturday night (from 7 to 9:30) its not a big deal. Anyway there are several ways to say things, not like archaic savages. So if you are looking for a place just to pay and sleep its ok but if you like to enjoy the weather with some friends and a good bbq after work hard this place is not for you.
Oct 09, 2022 · M RThese are some of the finest people you will ever meet. The park is older and the plans are to convert to more Rv’s and less mobile homes but as of now the saying “don’t judge a book by its cover” is definitely the case here. You will have your occasional rowdy neighbors but that is anywhere you go. If you call them with any issue they will promptly deal with it. This park is out in country here but only a short drive to town and about 5 miles to Plant Wansley.
