Vineyard RV Park Introduce
As you search for "RV parks near me" in the Vacaville, California area, Vineyard RV Park, situated at 4985 Midway Rd, is an option to consider. This introduction aims to provide local users with a detailed and objective overview of the park based on the information available from recent customer reviews. While the reviews offer insights into the environment, services, and features, it's important to note that they also highlight some potential drawbacks that prospective guests should be aware of.
One reviewer describes the park itself as "decent, seems clean and well maintained," which suggests that Vineyard RV Park takes pride in the upkeep of its grounds. This positive aspect of the environment could be appealing to those who value cleanliness and order during their RV stays. However, another significant point raised is that the reviewer, a frequent traveler staying in RV parks since 2008, found the assigned site to be the "smallest site I’ve ever stayed in," even after requesting the largest available. This suggests that site sizes might be a concern for RVers with larger rigs or those who prefer more space. Additionally, the reviewer noted that all sites are rock, expressing a personal preference for dirt or grass. While this is subjective, it's a factor that some RVers may find less desirable. The proximity of some sites to the road, with "many vehicles speeding by" despite a posted 5 mph limit, could also impact the peace and safety of those parked in roadside locations.
In terms of services, the reviews provide limited information. One positive aspect mentioned is that the "cable has all the good channels." However, this is significantly undermined by the fact that the cable signal "doesn’t come in clear at all, can’t even watch it." The reviewer reported calling twice about this issue "to no avail," indicating a potential lack of resolution for this service problem. Regarding utilities, one reviewer raised a serious concern about the billing for electricity. They stated, "Becareful now for electric they just give u a bill without how much kilowatts u use. They won't put it on there so they can be charging u what ever they want." This lack of transparency in utility billing is a significant potential drawback that could lead to unexpected and potentially inflated costs for guests. While basic hookups (water, electricity, sewer) are generally expected at RV parks, the billing process for electricity at Vineyard RV Park, according to this review, appears to lack accountability.
The features of Vineyard RV Park, as gleaned from the reviews, are a mix of positive and negative. The cleanliness and general maintenance of the park are positive attributes. The availability of cable with a good selection of channels is also a potential plus, although its unclear reception diminishes its value. The small site sizes, particularly the "largest available" being smaller than expected by an experienced RVer, is a notable feature that might not suit all travelers. The all-rock sites might be a feature that some prefer for ease of setup and cleanliness, while others might find it less aesthetically pleasing or comfortable. The location of some sites along a road with speeding vehicles is a safety and noise concern. Finally, the lack of transparency in electricity billing, as reported, is a significant negative feature that could impact the overall cost and experience of staying at the park.
Currently, there is no promotional information available for Vineyard RV Park in the provided text. The reviews focus on the personal experiences of guests rather than any special offers or discounts. For local users considering Vineyard RV Park, it would be advisable to contact the park directly at (707) 693-8797 or +1 707-693-8797 to inquire about current rates, site availability, specific amenities, and policies regarding utility billing and cable service. It would be prudent to specifically ask about how electricity usage is measured and billed to ensure transparency and avoid potential overcharges. Inquiring about site sizes and the proximity of available sites to the road might also be beneficial in making an informed decision.
In conclusion, Vineyard RV Park in Vacaville, CA, appears to be a park that is generally clean and well-maintained. However, potential guests should be aware of reported issues concerning small site sizes, unclear electricity billing practices, and unreliable cable television service. The location of some sites along a road with speeding traffic might also be a concern for some. While the park might offer a decent base for exploring the Vacaville area, it is crucial for prospective visitors to directly contact the management to seek clarification on the issues raised in the reviews and to ensure that the park meets their specific needs and expectations. The lack of clear electricity billing, in particular, warrants careful inquiry before committing to a stay. Visiting the park in person to assess site sizes and the overall environment might also be a worthwhile step in the decision-making process.

Apr 02, 2025 · NiekoBeen traveling for work and staying in Rv parks since 2008. This is the smallest site I’ve ever stayed in, after asking for largest site available. The park itself is decent, seems clean and well maintained, the cable has all the good channels but doesn’t come in clear at all, can’t even watch it. Called twice about it to no avail. All sites are rock which is just a personal dislike much prefer dirt or grass, site is on the road many vehicles speeding by definitely not doing the 5mph posted speed.

Aug 23, 2023 · MARY ANGUIANOWe are full timers and a line family and have been to this park several times for the holidays because we are from Vacaville and come home to visit family. This year we came from Texas early and now our dogs are no longer allowed starting January this year. Super upsetting as we have been staying here several years
