For inquiries and reservations, Whispering Bay Resort can be reached at (651) 504-2390 or via mobile at +1 651-504-2390. Direct contact is encouraged to confirm availability, especially given the resort's popularity, and to discuss specific needs, as evidenced by some unique service offerings described by past guests.
The environment at Whispering Bay Resort is consistently praised for its strong "community aspect." This suggests a friendly and interactive atmosphere where residents and visitors often engage with one another. The resort fosters a communal living environment, making it appealing for families and individuals who enjoy social interaction and a sense of belonging during their RV stays. The Chisago Lakes area itself provides a beautiful natural backdrop, with numerous lakes offering opportunities for boating, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors, contributing to the overall serene yet active environment of the resort.
A distinctive feature of the resort's environment is its "golf cart friendly" nature. This indicates that golf carts are a primary mode of transportation within the resort, contributing to a relaxed and accessible atmosphere. While this is a convenience, it also comes with a communal understanding of responsible use, as some residents are noted to be "a bit strict on speed of golf cart even when you’re not going very fast," highlighting a community effort to maintain safety and order within the park. This balance between freedom and shared responsibility defines a significant part of the resort's day-to-day environment.
In terms of services and features, Whispering Bay Resort goes beyond basic RV hookups to cultivate a welcoming and supportive experience. While typical RV park amenities such as full hookups (electric, water, sewer) are expected, the human element of service at Whispering Bay Resort is particularly highlighted:
Exceptional Customer Service: Reviews specifically commend the "exceptional help" provided by management, with individuals like Charley and Denise Bradley being singled out for their remarkable willingness to assist guests. This level of personalized service, even to the extent of suggesting alternative arrangements when the park is full, speaks volumes about their dedication to guest satisfaction.
Community Focus: The resort actively promotes a friendly and communal living environment. This likely translates into opportunities for social gatherings, shared activities, and a general atmosphere where neighbors look out for one another.
Golf Cart Accessibility: The golf cart friendly nature is a key feature, allowing for easy navigation within the resort and enhancing the relaxed, vacation-like feel.
Pet-Friendly Considerations: While not explicitly stated as "pet-friendly" in the provided reviews, the anecdote of a guest being able to walk their standard-size French Poodle suggests a welcoming attitude towards pets, at least under certain conditions or with prior arrangement. Prospective guests with pets should confirm the resort's specific pet policies.
Adaptability and Problem-Solving: The willingness of management to offer creative solutions, such as allowing a guest to park in their backyard when the resort was full, demonstrates a high degree of flexibility and a commitment to accommodating visitors even in challenging circumstances. This level of personalized care is a significant differentiator.
Promotional information for Whispering Bay Resort, particularly for those searching for "RV Parks Near Me," would strongly emphasize its core strengths: its vibrant community, exceptional service, and golf cart friendly environment. The resort can be promoted as an ideal destination for families and individuals looking for a long-term or seasonal RV spot where they can truly feel at home and be part of a welcoming community in the beautiful Chisago Lakes area. The personal touch from management, exemplified by the positive anecdotes, would be a compelling promotional point, suggesting that guests can expect a level of care and support beyond what is typically found at other RV parks.
The fact that a long-term RV traveler had "never had such exceptional help" highlights the resort's unique selling proposition in the competitive RV park market. This suggests that while basic amenities are important, the human element and the quality of interaction with staff significantly contribute to the overall guest experience. Potential visitors would be assured that they are not just renting a space but entering a community where their comfort and needs are genuinely considered.
While the review also mentions residents being strict about golf cart speed, this can be framed positively as an indication of a community that values safety and maintains order, contributing to a pleasant environment for all. It suggests that residents actively participate in upholding the resort's standards, which can be reassuring for those seeking a well-regulated and respectful community.
In conclusion, Whispering Bay Resort distinguishes itself as more than just an RV park; it is a community-focused destination in Lindstrom, MN, highly recommended for its warm atmosphere, golf cart friendly environment, and notably exceptional customer service. For anyone searching for "RV Parks Near Me" who values a strong sense of community, personalized assistance, and a peaceful yet engaging setting in the Chisago Lakes area, Whispering Bay Resort presents itself as a top-tier choice for a memorable and comfortable RV experience.

Whispering Bay Resort Reviews
Wonderful resort for me and my family. I appreciate the community aspect mixed with the golf cart friendly environment. Residents are a bit strict on speed of golf cart even when you’re not going very fast. However. Would recommend to any looking for a friendly communal living environment in the chisago area
Jul 16, 2023 · Matt LevyI have been traveling in a RV for over 20 years and I have never had such exceptional help as I had with Charley and Denise Bradley. I needed 4 days so Charley suggested their back yard because they were full. Since I needed to travel into St Paul Minnesota every day he suggested walking my 13 month old standard size French Poodle. WOW! I have never had this kind of RV park service before. They were truly the nicest, helpful people. I can't say every one will get this service but it's sure worth a try 😉
Jun 06, 2022 · Wayne HaddoxOh my goodness it was a last minute trip for my sisters birthday and they had a spot for us the same day! Greg the site manager was the best part of the trip so kind and helpful very nice! Absolutely will be coming back next year!
Aug 25, 2019 · sam schultzI called at 8am on Friday morning to see about renting a spot. Man on telephone was very Rude. I'm from Nashville, TN. and have family, and friends up in MN. I was raised in this area. Went to school at Chisago Lakes Schools. I Will NEVER refer this place to anyone. He should remember the rule of bisiness. 1- good referral will get you 10 customers. 1- Bad referral will lose you 100 customers.
Jul 09, 2021 · Larry “Crazy Larry” YoungGreat when Scott owned it. The new owners are money hungry and just plain awful. They're really rude and dk t care about their residents . Their children swarmed the campsite the lockdown was set it place but they wouldn't allow residents to be in common areas. They are really just awful and the place is becoming run down. Do not even bother staying here.
