Windward Village Mobile Home Park Introduce
Windward Village Mobile Home Park, located at 3595 Santa Fe Ave, Long Beach, CA 90810, USA, presents itself as a potentially attractive option for those seeking "RV parks near me" that offer a blend of community, security, and amenities in the Long Beach area. While primarily a mobile home park, it appears to cater to residents who own their homes and, by extension, may accommodate recreational vehicles seeking a long-term living arrangement within a well-established community.
Based on the available customer reviews, Windward Village Mobile Home Park boasts a "very nice environment" characterized as quiet, clean, and organized. This suggests a well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing community that prioritizes a comfortable living space for its residents. The mention of "good security and Management" further enhances the appeal, indicating a focus on the safety and well-being of those residing within the park. The 24/7 gated community with a guard underscores this commitment to security, providing residents with peace of mind.
A significant highlight of Windward Village Mobile Home Park is its "sharp club house," which serves as a central hub for residents and offers an impressive array of amenities. These include a swimming pool and jacuzzi, perfect for relaxation and recreation. The lounge and snooker boards provide social spaces for residents to connect and enjoy leisure activities. For fitness enthusiasts, there is a gym room, and the presence of two basketball courts offers opportunities for sports and exercise. The inclusion of a laundry room adds to the convenience of long-term living. The reviewer's comment of "many more stuffs" suggests that the clubhouse is well-equipped and provides a rich set of facilities for the community.
One long-term resident, who lived in Windward Village from 2013 to 2019, highlighted the aspect that "most homes you own the land and the house," which can represent a significant value proposition for those looking for a more permanent living situation. They described their home as "lovely and enormous" and appreciated the community for being family-friendly, enjoying walks and the playground with their child. The presence of "a lot of nice neighbors" further contributes to the positive community feel.
However, the same long-term resident also pointed out some cons. They mentioned that "management could be hit or miss," indicating potential inconsistencies in the quality of service or interactions with the management. The reviewer also noted feeling unwelcome in the community center on one occasion and found "too many rules in the pool area" which detracted from the enjoyment. Additionally, they mentioned that the HOA dues were "fairly high" and had increased twice during their six-year residency, suggesting a potential concern for cost management.
Other environmental factors mentioned include noise and dirt from a train yard located behind the development, as well as issues with animals getting under the homes. The reviewer also highlighted a particularly strict towing policy, with tow trucks frequently removing vehicles, sometimes for minor parking infractions, resulting in a significant cost to retrieve the vehicle.
Despite these disadvantages, the long-term resident concluded that they "loved living here" and still miss it, particularly the neighborhood walks. This suggests that the positive aspects of the community, such as the environment, security, neighbors, and amenities, outweighed the negatives for this individual.
Considering the perspective of someone searching for "RV parks near me," Windward Village Mobile Home Park offers a secure, gated community with a wide range of amenities that could enhance the living experience for long-term RV residents. The presence of a clubhouse with a pool, gym, and recreational facilities is a significant draw. The positive feedback regarding the environment, security, and neighbors suggests a comfortable and friendly community. However, potential residents should be aware of the reported inconsistencies with management, potentially restrictive pool rules, the cost of HOA dues, noise and environmental factors from the nearby train yard, and the strict towing policy. It is advisable to inquire specifically about the park's policies regarding RVs, including lot sizes, utility hookups, and any specific regulations that might apply.

Jan 17, 2020 · ifeanyi ikwuemeWe loved here from 2013 to 2019. Most homes you own the land and the house. At the time of purchase, it was an incredible value. Our home was lovely and enormous; the best starter home we could have. We gave birth to our first son while living here and I always enjoyed family walks around the community and taking my son to the playground. There’s a lot of nice neighbors; very friendly. 24-7 gated community with guard. One of the guards who worked days was amazing - friendly, watchful, diligent. Community was quiet.Cons - management could be hit or miss. I didn’t always feel welcome in the community center. I was told rudely to leave when trying to do work one day. Too many rules in the pool area which made it super unfun. HOA dues were fairly high and raised twice in our six years there; seems like that could be better managed (although I do know other places charge even more). The train yard behind the development is noisy and dirty. And animals can get under the homes fairly easily and cause havoc under there. Also, tow trucks came through at least a couple of times a day and towed ruthlessly. A parking ticket would be kinder. $300 cash to get your car back. Husband parked his car in guest parking once with a permit but forget to collect the car before midnight. By 5am it was already towed. We loved living here despite the disadvantages. I’m grateful for the time and still miss it from time to time (especially walks around the neighborhood - those really were the best).
Jan 15, 2022 · Bre DelgadilloGreat place to live. Gated community with gaurd(s) at gate. Each gaurd are professional and do an excellent job at checking visitors and friendly when doing so. All the residents that I've met are friendly & kind. Great neighborhood watch program. There's an amazing club house equiped with hot tub, pool, small gym, pool tables, ping pong, and it sits on a large area for kids to play at the playground, open field, basketball courts and more. I love it here.
Apr 01, 2023 · D.W. SparksWe've been here since the end of July 2020 and have always had a lovely experience with the onsite management team - absolutely adore Ms. Kathy. The community is great - it's quiet (as quiet as it can be next to a railroad yard), clean, and safe. The security team are always very friendly.
Feb 10, 2021 · Jeff BraddockI came to visit a friend but wow! What a joke here! Bad management! Their racist towards any other race except there own kind. (African Americans) Nice place to live at but management picks on you for any little things. I suggest you not live here - lots of headaches and rude, unprofessional, and uneducated staff. Please hire proper management and people who are discriminant toward other races.
