Zellwood Station Introduce
For local users searching for options beyond just "RV parks near me," Zellwood Station, located at 2126 Spillman Dr, Zellwood, FL 32798, USA, presents itself as a mobile home park with the added feature of a golf course. You can contact them at (407) 886-0000 or their mobile number, +1 407-886-0000, for inquiries about residency or golf course information.
Based on available customer reviews, Zellwood Station offers a somewhat complex picture. One reviewer focused on their experience with the golf course, noting that while the greens were "decent," the overall condition of the course, including fairways and tee boxes, was "below average." They also described the clubhouse as "stuck in time" and found the starter to be unfriendly. On a more positive note regarding the golf aspect, this reviewer appreciated the lack of numerous holes where losing a ball was a significant concern and enjoyed the elevation changes, which are considered unique for Central Florida golf courses.
Another review provided a starkly negative experience concerning the guard shack employees. This reviewer described them as "horrible," "unprofessional," and "extremely rude." They expressed concern about the negative impact this could have on business and on visitors to the community, questioning why anyone would want to return to the area, including the golf course, if they had to endure such unpleasant interactions just to gain entry.
Considering these initial perspectives, Zellwood Station appears to be a community centered around mobile home living with a golf course as a key amenity. However, potential local users considering this location, whether for residency or for a round of golf, should be aware of the mixed feedback regarding the quality of the golf course and, more notably, the negative experience reported with the guard shack personnel.
When evaluating a mobile home park, the environment and community atmosphere are crucial factors. The mention of a guard shack suggests a gated community, which can offer a sense of security. However, the negative interaction reported at the guard shack could detract from the overall welcoming environment for both residents and visitors. Further information would be needed to assess the general upkeep and aesthetic of the mobile home park itself, beyond the golf course.
In terms of services and features, the most prominent feature highlighted in the reviews is the 18-hole golf course. While opinions on its condition vary, the presence of a golf course within a mobile home park is a significant amenity, particularly for those who enjoy the sport. The "stuck in time" description of the clubhouse suggests that it might be functional but perhaps lacking modern updates. It would be beneficial to inquire about other potential amenities for residents, such as recreational facilities, community centers, or organized activities, which are common in many mobile home parks, especially those catering to an active adult demographic.
The elevation changes noted on the golf course are a unique feature for Central Florida, which is generally known for its flat terrain. This could be a significant draw for local golfers seeking a more interesting and challenging playing experience. However, the reported subpar condition of the fairways and tee boxes needs to be weighed against this positive aspect.
For local users considering Zellwood Station as a potential residence, the negative feedback regarding the unprofessionalism and rudeness of the guard shack employees is a serious concern. The initial point of contact for residents and visitors can significantly impact the overall perception and experience of the community. Addressing such issues is crucial for fostering a positive living environment.
As Zellwood Station is presented as a mobile home park, it likely offers various lot options for manufactured homes. Potential residents would need to inquire about lot sizes, monthly fees, and any community rules or regulations. Information regarding the age demographic of the community could also be relevant for those seeking a specific type of living environment, such as a retirement community or a family-friendly park.
Regarding promotional information, the provided reviews do not contain any details about special offers or incentives for either residency or golf. Local users interested in either aspect would need to contact Zellwood Station directly to inquire about current pricing for lot rentals or golf rounds, as well as any available promotions or membership options for the golf course.
In conclusion, Zellwood Station in Zellwood, Florida, offers a mobile home park setting with the notable amenity of an 18-hole golf course. While the golf course boasts unique elevation changes for the region, it has received feedback regarding below-average conditions. Furthermore, a significant concern has been raised about the unprofessional and rude behavior of the guard shack employees, which could negatively impact the experience of both residents and visitors. Local users considering Zellwood Station for residency or golf should contact the management directly at (407) 886-0000 or +1 407-886-0000 to obtain comprehensive and current information and to address any concerns arising from the available reviews. It would be prudent to inquire about the current state of the golf course, the community environment, and the management's approach to addressing the issues raised in the customer feedback.

Zellwood Station Reviews
Played a round of golf here with another couple. The course was in below average shape, the clubhouse is stuck in time, and the starter was not a friendly person. As for the course, the fairways and tee boxes were in subpar shape. Surprisingly the greens were decent. The one thing I did like about the course was that there weren’t many holes where you had to worry about losing a ball. Also, like many Lake County courses it had a lot of elevation changes, which is neat for Central Florida golf courses
Nov 03, 2024 · Richard HornsbyHorrible guard shack employees. Unprofessional and extremely rude . Not good for business or for anyone visiting your lovely community! Why would anyone come back to the whistle stop or to golf if you have to go through so much trouble just to get in and treated so rudely
Mar 15, 2025 · Debbie BolgerGreens were super nice, the fairways were ok and pace of play good. Good golf course ⛳️ with some challenging holes. Would definitely go back and play again.
