While specific details about the natural landscape aren't extensively described in the provided reviews, the emphasis on amenities like pools, water slides, and mini-golf suggests a resort-style campground focused on recreational activities. The fact that families return year after year indicates a pleasant and well-maintained setting that caters to a positive outdoor experience. The availability of golf cart rentals is a significant service, allowing guests to move around the resort conveniently, especially those with young children or mobility concerns. The presence of a "swim-up snack bar" at the pool is a unique and highly appreciated service, allowing guests to enjoy refreshments without leaving the water. The welcoming and helpful nature of the staff, as highlighted in a review, contributes significantly to the overall positive experience. The campground seems to prioritize creating a fun and engaging environment with "lots of activities" for kids. While one reviewer suggested more comfortable seating in the cabins (noting that a cabin sleeping six might only comfortably seat two on the sofa), the overall array of recreational features appears to be a major highlight. Adventure Bound Camping Resorts - Eagles Peak Reviews
We've been bringing our son here for 5+ years and we always have a fantastic time! We stay in the deluxe cabins and rent a golf cart to get around easily. My son loves the pool, the water slides, the swim-up snack bar, the mini-golf, and gem mining!
Oct 06, 2024 · Adrienne WrightWe had a fantastic time. All of the staff members were so welcoming and helpful. It's a great place for kids of all ages with lots of activities. The only thing I would suggest is more comfortable seating in the cabins. They sleep 6 but the one and only sofa seats two comfortably, maybe more if they're small children.
Jul 29, 2024 · Noel BaroneMy family of 6 loves this campground! We just went this past weekend for the second year. This year was the first time we stayed in a cabin, and I was impressed with how clean and beautiful the cabin was. You have to bring all your own bedding and towels, which kinda stunk, because it added a lot to all the stuff we already had to pack and bring. But on the plus side, you're using all your own stuff. The kitchen had everything we needed, except for a grill brush to clean the outside grill, which we were able to purchase at the campground store. It had pots, pans, plates, bowls, silverware, glasses, coffee mugs, cooking utensils, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, etc. and the kitchen was very clean! The entire cabin was very clean. Two cons I can say about the cabin was that it sleeps 6 people, but the kitchen table only had 4 chairs. We are a family of 6, so it would have been nice to have 6 chairs, but we made do. Not a big deal that would keep me from reserving a cabin again. Also, there was not much parking space at our specific cabin, but I did see other cabins that had a lot more parking space, so I will just be reserving a different cabin for next year. We rented a golf cart for the whole weekend, which was really great to have. My kids loved riding on it and we had no issues with it. All of the staff we dealt with were very nice and helpful. My kids had a really good time at the pool and the water slides, even I enjoyed the water slides :) It was extremely crowded at the pool on Saturday (to be expected) but we also stayed Sunday overnight and my kids had the pool all to themselves on Sunday night! My kids also enjoyed the live band, playground, basketball court and RC car dirt track. There is so much to do there, and they always have activities planned on the weekends. They have a big playground near the pool and then a smaller one that is back in the middle of the campsites. It would be nice if the store was open later on Sundays-Thursdays, it's only open until 5 pm those days. The Wifi worked better for us this year than it did last year. But even if it didn't work well, I don't consider that a downside for me, because it's nice to unplug, get your face out of your phone and just spend quality time with your family! Overall, we love this campground and will definitely be returning again next summer!
Aug 07, 2024 · KellyOver all, it's a nice place to go camping. We rented one of the RVs that is available to stay in. Quite nice and comfortable. Our only concern with the unit we stayed in, was the location. The lot next to us had seasonal campers that had a cabana built, and it was virtually almost against the back side of our unit. Which is just outside of the bedroom area. I don't degrudge anyone from enjoying themselves, but there is a policy in place for quite time starting at 11:00pm . Evidently they are above campground policies. Our first two nights they talked and made noise till 12:30. First time, the grandson went and ask them to quite down. Next night, had to call security. Nice place to stay, other than that.
Aug 07, 2024 · Chuck BognarThe staff at this campground were super nice from the moment we entered. A large portion of the sites are seasonal. We were in an area where the sites were extremely close together, but fortunately no one on either side of us. In our opinion, the biggest drawback was the amount of golf carts definitely going well above the 5mph posted speed signs. That made things loud and disruptive. The Wi-Fi was unreliable. I was excited that they welcomed streaming as they advertised their high speed Wi-Fi. Unfortunately it barely worked for us and there isn’t much of a cellular signal due to the location. Overall, we probably won’t be quick to return.
