This place is amazing. We were looking for lakes to swim at and everywhere was either packed or didnt exactly have public access and then we remembered about this place. I remember coming here and camping once when i was a kid and then after my grandmother died. Its so peaceful and quiet. Its my happy place.

I was able to fish without having to walk around to find a spot!I like a hot shower and the facilities here did not disappoint. They are coin operated, though so bring your quarters (5 min = $.25)My GF took advantage of the beach and says, “it was nice to lay on the sand.”Overall I definitely recommend this place and look forward to going back!
