Allegheny I-80 Campground Reviews
I love this place, we took a couple Casts at the pond and caught a 4 pound catfish, but the only thing that I got mad about was we were playing pool ALL night, and wanted to play in the morning but we couldn't until 9:02. We were supposed to play at 9. But other than that this place is a fun little campground that I would recommend!
Dec 04, 2024 · Isaac ParaskaWe bought a camp at the end of the season of 2023. So far we are loving it! Very peaceful and the owners are great! It's a smaller campground which is nice and your not all cramped in and have plenty of space. Heated pool, activities, etc.. We're looking forward to many wonderful years here.
Jun 17, 2024 · Sharon McclellandVery friendly and helpful. The campground was clean and easy to find. We would definitely go back.
Sep 18, 2024 · Debbie ScheckWe stayed in a cabin and are not RV campers. When we came in at 11 pm the cabin was filthy. Cobwebs, bugs and dirt everywhere, a pair of dirty men's underwear under the queen size bunk beds, and the top bunk was coated in insect droppings... Just gross and really disappointing to have to clean before we could sleep. That said, everything else was pretty good. The owners were friendly and laid back. The pool was heated, clean and comfortable and the owners were actively painting and maintaining parts of the campground. The bathrooms were VERY clean and the campground was quiet/family oriented. I would have rated 4* if not for the dirty cabin. We would have been more comfortable in our own clean tent that first night. I also noticed a few minor issues... A metal pole next to our cabin (like for a BBQ grill) was rusted and had fallen over, and the rusty jagged part sticking up was a hazard to our child. There was a weird chemical smell, perhaps from a nearby factory or refinery, that hung around the entire time. It was also so close to I-80 that there was a lot of road noise. All in all,w would be happy to return, but would want to make sure to arrive early enough to clean the cabin. The price was competitive.
Jul 03, 2019 · Betsey KernanWell I got a lot to say so plz read this if u wanna know about this camp! So me and and parents been camping at gaslight for 3 or 4 years it was fun I met people but it gotten worse they kicked out people left and right which soon enough we were kicked. But if u didn't know they have to have an notice and by state laws go to court to kick anyone out if necessary. But they don't follow the law at all, to go on they kicked us out because my mother so called ran over 50 people?? Like how does that happen huh?? Well it didn't but that's what the owners said for there excuse. I'm really disappointed in the camp owners my lil sister loved it there but hopefully this gets notice and the owners sued or shut down because they have broken a lot of laws for owning an campground
