Aug 24, 2024 · Corrie DecampWe spent a lovely night in the beautiful campground, a little rain on our tent, but not too bad. Grab it yourself wood always available. Bathroom not too far and water nearby. The best part was the beach in the bay the next morning. It was gorgeous! Thankfully it was a very hot day, so the very cold Lake Superior water was refreshing.

Jan 23, 2024 · Damon KalarI love big bay town park! The stairway to the beach is so beautiful! The beach is clean and the sand is soft …with lots of pretty polished stones to beach comb over. There’s also a nice board wall that goes all the way into the big bay state park…it’s pretty as it winds its way through the pines growing on the sand spit that divides the lagoon from the lake proper. At the top of the bluff there is a very nice group event Shelter with barbecues and suchParking is easy and the bathrooms are fine. The campsites are pretty nice, but most don’t seem large enough for rv’s
