The campground is located near East Marsh Lake, which is described as "nice," providing a water feature that likely contributes to the scenic beauty and offers opportunities for lakeside relaxation. However, one reviewer noted that the forest in the area has been "ravaged by beetles," resulting in a majority of dying or dead trees. While this might impact the overall aesthetic of the forest itself, the lake still retains its appeal. This suggests that campers should come prepared with all necessary supplies, although the reviewer also suggested that a small store for basic necessities within the campground would be a great addition. Overall, the services and facilities at East Marsh Lake Campground seem to prioritize cleanliness, functionality, and a positive visitor experience, despite the remoteness.

East Marsh Lake Campground Reviews
Great little place off the grid. Beautiful scenery, a lot of UTV trails, good size camp sites for both tent and trailer. Very clean restrooms, too! The camp host was friendly and gave a few tips for our next trip. My only complaint is the closest store is about 40-45 min away. A small store for basic necessities like ice and water just for campers would be so great.
Jun 17, 2024 · Sonya ByersThis is a nice, quiet campground with clean toilets and drinking water. The forest has been ravaged by beetles and majority of the trees in the area are dying or dead, but the lake was nice. We went on the busy Labor Day weekend and there were still several walk -up sites available. Good fire pits and most sites have steel tables which were great for our dutch ovens. If you're looking to get away from some of the busy areas on the south face of the Uintas, try this area on the north side.
Sep 05, 2017 · Brenden HaueterBeen camping in the Uinta's for years now, but Marsh lake was a first for us. The camp host was great , bathrooms were extremely clean, and our spot had a great firepit, grill stand, ada accessible picnic table, and firewood laying around everywhere. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will definitely be back.😎
Jul 08, 2022 · Jayson JonesOne of my favorite places to camp! The campground surrounds the lake so you are able to see it from your campground and walk right down to it in a matter of minutes. The night sky is incredible here, so many stars! It's also a wonderful place to fish, everyone always scores here. There's a couple of docks and a boat launch. It's a great place to throw in some kayaks and race around. There's also usually a ton of wild flowers here. There's a few trails to explore as well. bathrooms are pit toilets but they are usually the cleanest ones I've ever seen. We love camping here every year!
May 02, 2018 · StormiePretty campground. Be warned it's a dirt road for 40 minutes before you get there so plan accordingly with your vehicle. The restrooms are well maintained & smell is controlled well. I would not go here if you are tent camping, every site was full of camper trailers. You are 1 of 50 if you're in a tent & get to enjoy the wonderful sound of nature's generators ;). Nice campground, not the place if you are looking for isolation in nature.
