Feb 19, 2025 · Tori MurphyWe had great experience at Florida Elks youth camp. Cabins are clean with good space and cooled by AC. Hotel rooms available too. The big pavilion area is amazing equipped with tables, chairs, full kitchen and stage ( for presentations … etc). The gym is big and can be split into multiple basket ball fields with a seating area on the side. Next to gym, the sessions rooms, they are big and clean. The place has two volleyball fields, canoeing, and archery.
Sep 26, 2022 · Derar (Reviewer)Can't say enough about this place! Staff is friendly and easy to book. Paperwork is not overbearing.Lots for a youth group or a scout pack (like mine) to. Camping is easy and has some comforts to it, such as:Great drive in camp areas with bbq pits, group camp fire ring with bench seating, flagpole, full restrooms with power, toilets, showers and hot and cold running water, screened in pavillion with lighting, tables, big commercial ice machine, sink with hot and cold running water, lots of tables in the Pavillion would easy seat 100+ people, camping area well groomed and the campfire wood is split and stacked and provided for you. There is a full height outdoor obstacle ropes course, it's extra but well worth it depending on your kids' age groups and quantity of people attending.Well out of town, but close enough to cater food or pickup from local stores and restaurants for your outing.Good quiet family environment, and their are multiple places to camp. Manu of the sites have great lake views.A swimming pool is available during the summer months. They also have cabins for rent and standard motel type rooms as well, but for me it's all about the camping!!Oh yes, almost forgot to add, then have an outdoor archery range for youth, frisbee golf and fishing (don't forget your tackle box and best kures)!!!
Feb 04, 2023 · Matthew KahnsI went to this camp when I was a kid. A time was had. I remember there was this short chunky kid in my little bunk group. He told us this story about how he was in a movie lol one of the funniest people Ive met to this day. This kid could tell stories for days but we were like 13 so its crazy to think about now as I am now 25. Anyways, Hopefully he sees this one day and we can catch up. Great camp to send your kids to!
