Kingfisher Riverside rooms Introduce
For local users searching for "camping near me" with the comfort of a room rather than a traditional tent, Kingfisher Riverside rooms, located in Trempealeau, Wisconsin, offers a riverside lodging option. Situated at 23933 Peninsula Dr, this establishment aims to provide a convenient alternative for those looking to enjoy the outdoors with the added benefit of a room. However, it's important for potential guests to be aware of recent customer feedback regarding service and booking policies, particularly for families.
Based on the limited information available from a recent customer review, the experience at Kingfisher Riverside rooms might vary. The review details an interaction at the landing next to the rooms where the potential guest, who was boating, inquired about staying with two adults and two children instead of setting up a tent. The reviewer expressed dissatisfaction with the customer service received during this inquiry, suggesting that the owner or manager appeared irritated while answering questions. Specifically, when asked if accommodating a family of four (two adults and two children, including a five-year-old) was feasible in one room, the response led the potential guest to feel unwelcome.
The owner or manager reportedly suggested booking two rooms for a family with young children, proposing that the children occupy one room. This suggestion was declined by the inquiring party. Furthermore, the review mentions a discussion about using an air mattress for the children, which the owner/manager purportedly frowned upon, citing the nature of a small business. When the potential guest asked about rates, weekend rates were initially provided. Ultimately, the owner/manager allegedly stated that he did not think the arrangement would work out and declined to rent a room to the family.
This single, albeit detailed, review highlights potential concerns regarding customer service, particularly in how inquiries from families with children are handled. The interaction described suggests a possible inflexibility or a preference that might not align with the needs of all families. Potential guests with children may want to consider this feedback when deciding whether to inquire about booking at Kingfisher Riverside rooms.
The address, 23933 Peninsula Dr, Trempealeau, WI 54661, indicates a location that is likely near the water, given the name "Riverside rooms" and the reviewer mentioning being on their boat at the landing. This suggests a potentially scenic environment with access to the river, which could be a significant draw for those interested in riverside activities or views. However, the review does not provide specific details about the natural surroundings or any particular amenities offered by the rooms themselves.
Without further reviews or information, it is challenging to provide a comprehensive description of the environment, services, and features of Kingfisher Riverside rooms. The available feedback focuses primarily on a negative customer service experience during a booking inquiry. Therefore, local users searching for "camping near me" who are considering this option should be aware of this reported experience.

There is no information available regarding specific amenities within the rooms, the overall ambiance of the location, or any services offered to guests beyond the rooms themselves. Additionally, no promotional information is included in the provided text.
Given the limited and negative nature of the available feedback, local users might want to exercise caution and perhaps seek additional reviews or information before making a booking at Kingfisher Riverside rooms, especially if traveling with children. Kingfisher Riverside rooms Reviews
Horrible customer service and pretty sure he was the owner or manager. We were on our boat at the landing next to the rooms and decided to maybe check these out instead of setting up tent. Questions I had like, "we have 2 adults and 2 kids, will that be pheasible?" he was irritated the whole time. He suggested I book 2 rooms and put my kids in one (we have a 5 year old) so no thanks! He said he doesn't want to have to explain to me being a small business he frowns upon an air mattress for the kids. When I asked him the rates, he gave me weekend rates. He then said he just doesn't think it'll work out and that he's not going to rent it to us. guess he gets to keep being a small business with less customers now. Don't try to call and book with kids and watch what hes trying to charge you.. I'd give zero stars if I could!
