Kinner Camping Introduce
For local residents seeking a distinctive 'camping near me' experience, Kinner Camping, located at 2810 Two Mile Rd in Winchester, Kentucky, offers a charming alternative to traditional campgrounds. While the provided information focuses on a specific rental unit, the "Bear Cozy RV," it offers valuable insights into the kind of experience you can expect at Kinner Camping. This introduction will combine the details from the review with the 'camping near me' platform category to give you a comprehensive overview of what Kinner Camping might offer for your local getaway.
One of the standout features highlighted in the review is the availability of unique lodging options, such as the "Bear Cozy RV." This suggests that Kinner Camping may offer more than just traditional campsites, potentially including RV rentals or cozy cabins that provide a more comfortable and amenity-rich camping experience. The positive feedback from the guest who stayed in the Bear Cozy RV indicates a well-maintained and thoughtfully equipped unit. Upon arrival during a period of high temperatures (92°F), the hosts had already turned on the air conditioning, ensuring a cool and welcoming interior. This attention to guest comfort is a significant plus.
The Bear Cozy RV appears to be particularly well-suited for families. The reviewer mentioned their boys enjoying outdoor games and a basketball hoop, indicating that Kinner Camping provides recreational activities to keep children entertained. The convenience of being able to cool off inside the air-conditioned RV after outdoor play adds to the appeal for families with young children. Inside the RV, the inclusion of a PAC-Man game with multiple classic games like Galaga offers another source of entertainment, especially during downtime or in the evenings.
For those who enjoy outdoor cooking, the presence of a small, clean grill associated with the Bear Cozy RV is a notable amenity. This allows guests to easily prepare meals outdoors, enhancing the camping experience. The sleeping arrangements in the RV, with fold-out beds that comfortably accommodated four people, suggest that these rental units are designed with families in mind.
The inclusion of a TV with DVDs in the Bear Cozy RV provides indoor entertainment options for guests, which can be particularly useful during inclement weather or for relaxing in the evenings. Overall, the experience in the Bear Cozy RV, as described, points to a comfortable, family-friendly, and well-equipped lodging option within Kinner Camping.
However, it's important to consider all feedback to provide an objective introduction. Another reviewer mentioned the cute decor, cleanliness, and friendly owners, which are significant positives. However, this reviewer expressed a desire for indoor plumbing and found the heating arrangements to be inadequate. This suggests that while some of the rental units (or perhaps the campground in general, if this applies beyond the Bear Cozy RV) may lack full indoor plumbing, potentially relying on shared facilities, and that heating in colder weather might be an area for improvement.

Kinner Camping Reviews
We booked the Bear Cozy RV for one night. I was a little worried about how hot it might be as temps were 92 when we arrived, but the hosts had already turned on the AC and inside was quite cool. My boys enjoyed going outside playing the games and with the basketball ball goal and then coming back to cool off. The PAC-Man game in the corner is a cool addition as it actually has five different games including Galaga. A small grill was there for our use and was very clean. The fold out beds easily slept all four of us. There is even a TV with some DVD’s. Overall, we really enjoyed our time and hope to come back again. Thanks for hosting us!
