Went on a beautiful clear winter day. Beaches were empty. Walked barefoot on the beach and was not cold. Several fishermen were casting lines. Quite a few sea birds to see. Very interesting to see the old ships used as barrier and bird sanctuary. Will try to go back in the summer to see how different it feels. Off season the store and restrooms were closed. Porta potty’s were available and clean. - leah hendee
