Leo Carrillo State Park Campground

35000 Pacific Coast Hwy, Malibu, CA 90265, USA

4.0
This review is only about the hiking trail. Fairly easy uphill hike, all on dirt which is gentle on the joints. We hiked up to the ocean vista trail and it was so beautiful! 💯 Percent recommend to see the amazing views. The only downside is that there isn't much shade on most of the trail, no trees and the grass and shrubbery are low so the sun is burning down on you the whole time. Wear sunscreen and a hat ifyou go any time except the early morning. Take water with electrolytes because there are no fountains up there. The grass and flowers are gorgeous, we even saw a little bunny on the trail the day before 🐰 Easter. - Lisa
