Liberty Lake RV Campground Introduce
For local users searching within the "camping near me" category and specifically looking for "RV parks near me," Liberty Lake RV Campground in Liberty Lake, Washington, offers a location with certain amenities and access to nearby conveniences. However, based on recent customer reviews, it's essential for potential visitors to be aware of both the positive aspects and potential drawbacks before planning their stay, particularly for long-term visits or those traveling with pets.
The environment surrounding Liberty Lake RV Campground benefits from its proximity to the town of Liberty Lake. One reviewer noted the convenience of being just a 3-minute drive away from where they could obtain necessary supplies. This suggests that while the campground itself might offer a dedicated space for RVs, it is also situated within easy reach of local amenities, making it convenient for stocking up on groceries or other essentials. The specific natural environment of the campground itself – such as the amount of greenery, spacing between sites, or any scenic views – is not detailed in the provided reviews.
In terms of services, Liberty Lake RV Campground offers full hookups for RVs, which is a significant advantage for travelers seeking water, electricity, and sewer connections at their site. This allows for a more comfortable and self-sufficient stay. Additionally, the campground provides free wifi, a feature that was particularly appreciated by one reviewer who noted that it was not always available at other RV sites. This can be a valuable amenity for staying connected or planning further travels. The campground also has showers available for guests, which were described as having good space. However, a notable drawback mentioned was that the showers are timed, and water tends to go everywhere on the ground, leading the reviewer to recommend bringing shower shoes.
Several features of Liberty Lake RV Campground can be gleaned from the reviews. The availability of full hookups is a key feature catering to RV travelers. The free wifi adds to the convenience and connectivity for guests. The proximity to local supplies within a 3-minute drive is another beneficial feature. The showers, while spacious, have the limitation of being timed and potentially wet. For those planning longer stays, particularly during winter, one review raises significant concerns about the park's management style and pet policies. This reviewer, who had set up their trailer for winter with insulation, reported receiving emails about their dogs barking during daytime hours, followed by a notice to move. This suggests a potentially strict and inflexible approach to pet management, which could be a major consideration for RV travelers with dogs, especially those planning an extended stay.
The negative review regarding the pet policy and subsequent eviction notice also highlights a perceived "untrustworthy atmosphere" created by the management. The reviewer alleges that after receiving complaints about their dogs barking, park staff provoked the dogs into barking, exacerbating the issue. This serious accusation suggests potential conflict and a lack of understanding or flexibility on the part of the campground management, particularly concerning pet owners. The reviewer strongly advises other RV travelers to look elsewhere for more respectful accommodations, especially for those with pets or those considering a longer stay.
Promotional information is somewhat limited and overshadowed by the negative feedback. The provision of free wifi and full hookups could be considered promotional points, appealing to RV travelers seeking these amenities. The convenient location near supplies is another potential advantage that might attract visitors. However, the negative experience related to pet management and the overall atmosphere raises significant concerns that would likely outweigh these benefits for many potential guests, especially those with pets or those planning an extended stay.
The review indicating that the park is "not good for wintering in the long term" is a crucial piece of information for local users considering an extended stay during the colder months. The experience of being asked to move after setting up for winter due to dog-related issues suggests that the campground might not be accommodating for long-term winter residents, particularly those with pets. This could be due to specific park policies or management preferences that are not explicitly stated but have a significant impact on the experience of long-term guests.
In conclusion, Liberty Lake RV Campground near Liberty Lake, WA, offers the convenience of full hookups and free wifi, along with a location that is close to local amenities. However, potential visitors should be aware of the timed showers and the potentially strict and inflexible pet policies, especially if planning a long-term stay or traveling with dogs. The negative review detailing an eviction notice due to dog barking and the creation of an "untrustworthy atmosphere" is a serious concern that should be carefully considered. While the campground might be suitable for short-term stays where the pet policy is less of an issue and the provided amenities are valued, those seeking a more relaxed and pet-friendly environment, particularly for longer durations, may want to explore other options in the "RV parks near me" category.

Liberty Lake RV Campground Reviews
Our 2nd RV campground of our trip back in October. Was delighted that there was free wifi as it was not a given at other sites. We need to get some supplies which was just a 3 minute drive from the place. The spot provided was good, we booked full hook up, close enough to walk to the showers which was appreciated. The showers had good space, however I didn't like the fact that they were timed and that water went everywhere on the ground. I recommend shower shoes:)
Feb 01, 2025 · Amber HoangIt's a nice place to visit. Not good for wintering in the long term. Liberty rv park continues to micro manege every aspect of our visit. We have dogs. Dogs bark. We get emails about our dogs barking during the day time hours. Right after this we get another email telling us that we need to move. We have set up our trailer for winter and have insulated it for winter. We now need to scrabble to find another spot for winter. We don't have the money to do so. We committed financially to this place. Right after the rv park, staff comes to and provokes our dogs into barking, which creates more of a problem for us. Liberty Lake rv park has created an untrustworthy atmosphere. Look elsewhere rv travelers. There are much more respectful places to go to. I don't recommend this site.
Mar 11, 2025 · Hilbert Baeza"Rooms" does not apply here. "Number of spaces," on the other hand, would rate 5 stars. The staff here is amazing- they are friendly and keep everything clean and looking great!19 November 2024: As usual, the staff here ROCKS! They keep a clean facility, and are very safety conscious. They have been very understanding of my medical situation, and have worked with me when I needed it. I wish I could give 10 stars!!
Nov 19, 2024 · CJ ChapmanWe simply loved this place. Staff was very friendly. They have spoiled us with such a nice campground. All paved sites with your own little yard. So well kept and very quiet. Will definitely be back! Another great stay here. Always our top choice in Spokane. Just stayed again. Quiet, peaceful, well maintained.
Apr 21, 2025 · tjcThis is a very nice, clean, affordable RV park in a great location walking distance from shopping, gas, groceries, and really close to the highway. I live and travel in an RV full time across the entire country, and this is probably the cleanest one I’ve seen. Pool, half basketball court, playground, walking for the dogs. Showers are very clean, laundry facility on site. 10% discount with GS.
