Little Union River Yurt Reviews
What a beautiful place to spend a day or two! My Wife, 2 friends and I ended our 4 day backpacking trip here. It was fantastic! We heard coyotes and owls, and possibly some wolves! The hike in is very easy and one of the shortest in The Porkies. Would strongly recommend this Yurt for those who want the backpacking experience, without a really long hike!
Jul 18, 2018 · Dan ClampitThe Yurt was perfect for my wife and our two dogs. The walk from the parking space was close to a mile, not 1/2 mile. Very secluded and quiet.
Aug 03, 2023 · Kevin McShaneThis stay included a 20 minute walk on a rough forest service road - be prepared! It's a bit far, but not too far that you can't go back to the car for a few extra things. The mattresses are hard - bring your sleeping mats. One recommendation - if you're using the furnace during the summer months and just want to get the chill out of the air, close off of the air valve 5-10 minutes after starting the fire. If not - the yurt turns into a sauna. Have fun!
