Apr 18, 2024 · Silvia Sattler GriffinWe had a site that backed up to the river. Site 23. Very nice view out the back window of the Boulder River. Could sit out during the day and enjoy the flowing river. Staff was very friendly and knew our names after a couple days. Campers were friendly as well. Can’t wait to return next year.
Jul 05, 2024 · Derrick WatsonI know the mine is a major attraction, but I came here for the campground. I've now been twice. The campground is well laid out, with all the amenities and even a central activity building. They have everything from primitive tent sites to pull through 50A full hookup sites.Veronica is always a pleasure to work with, very customer oriented and extremely accommodating, even with my somewhat unpredictable travel plans. If you're looking for a campground near Butte, I'd definitely recommend staying here and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm traveling out in Montana!
Aug 17, 2024 · ChuckGreat little campground, but site A is definitely the best spot! Right on the river, very private, shady and spacious. Showers take quarters but were clean. Good cell signal with Verizon. Camp host welcomed us as we arrived and was very friendly and helpful.
Aug 17, 2022 · LaurenPeaceful and beautiful, Merry Widow was a nice place to spend a long weekend. The camp hosts were friendly, helpful and fun. The owners are kind and dedicated to helping others. We met many nice people! The campground was clean and tidy yet still a natural setting. There are shady areas or open areas to stay. As we headed out for home, the camp hosts were waving us good-bye... darn near made me tear up. We will definitely be back.
