Montpelier Creek KOA Journey Reviews
We stayed at this campground in a travel trailer for one night in October while traveling coast to coast. It was dark when we arrived and we left early the next morning so we didn't have time to enjoy the amenities. However, our site was very large with a permanent picnic table. We did use the laundry facilities and shower facilites and they were all clean. The hot water in the shower was fantastic! We would stay at this campground again if the opportunity arose.
Nov 10, 2024 · Terry GriffisIssac was beyond helpful getting us set up. We had a bit of a scheduling mishap and Issac did amazing in helping us rectify our mistake and save the holiday weekend. Thanks so much to Issac and his lovely family. Lori was super friendly and helpful also. The park was very clean and well maintained. They are expanding their park so there is some work being done but nothing that is bothersome. The bathrooms are nice and clean. There are lots of activities for the family and kids to play and do. There are washers and dryers to use. The showers are nice and warm. There is a pool that the kids loved going to. And it is a nice place to take a cool dip on a hot summer day. There are nice little nature walks to take next to the cute little stream that runs next to the park. And last but not least, there even an activity for my wife's favorite child, the four-legged one. They have a good sized dog run for your pet to have a little off leash time.
Oct 12, 2024 · Santiago GutierrezA big group I’m a part of reserved the whole camp for a weekend. Isaac and his family were great camp hosts and made us feel very welcome. The camp was clean and very well maintained. The pool was great. They have a sports court with pickleball and a basketball hoop. A cute stream runs through the camp with a little walking path. Would definitely stay here again.
Sep 24, 2024 · Dustin JensenThis was a great KOA with all the amenities- pool, playground game room with pool table, ping pong, connect four (large version) and washers and dryers. The cabins by the creek were very relaxing and felt very private! The only thing that could be improved is the light sensor in the bathroom- if you’re taking a shower and no one else comes in or out you can get left in the dark as the lights turn off- I think they are on a sensor.
Jul 04, 2024 · Lynnel BienkowskiCampground is always our favorite place to stay when we go to Montpelier. It’s always clean and tidy. It has a pool that my kids spend hours in, a playground, and a pickleball court that was so fun. 10 min drive into town and only 40 min from Bear Lake. Has a great fishing pond just up the road as well. The creek that runs through the campground is so fun to play in. And you can fish in it as well. They have showers and running toilets. We usually stay on a weekend and it’s packed but this trip we stayed Monday-Wednesday and it was nice and quiet. Great place to stay, highly recommend!!!!!
