Nutbush Bridge Campground Reviews
We are long-time enjoyers of Kerr Lake. This was our first time camping in Nutbush. We stayed at site 56 in area 3. The site was beautiful and right on the lake. I loved that we could fish without leaving our site. The site came with a fire pit and a picnic table. There was a nice little playground next to the bathrooms. You could see it from anywhere on the campground. There was no camp host on duty during our 3 day stay. The first night was very peaceful. The second night, there were a couple of families that came in two RVs, and they blasted country music and were very loud into the night. They had been opening drinking alcohol the whole day and night even though alcohol is prohibited. The bathrooms were always kept very clean. There are also showers available. I did notice that people were coming from other areas to shower. I just assumed that the showers in their area were full. It didn't have any effect on me, so I didn't care.I loved how close it was to Walmart in Henderson. We're not professional campers, so we did end up forgetting some things. We were able to make a quick run to the store to get stuff. There are also of few little bait shops in the area as well.We will definitely be back here in the future to camp again.

May 19, 2019 · Tempia Ravis (UncleSams_RN)Traveling from Louisiana and called the number to see if any availability. (Already have a place booked at further distance but, husband is a little tired and wanted to rest) The lady answered and was difficult to hear so, I clarified that I was calling the right place. She abruptly said “that’s what I said…”. Even my husband made the comment “she was a little abrupt”. So glad I didn’t cancel the other reservation (who, btw, was VERY sweet and professional answering the phone)
Aug 29, 2024 · Lisa PrimeauxGreat campground on Lake Kerr. Had a hook up with a lake view. Nice showers and lots of boat access. Quiet campground with 24 hour access.
