Oak Shores Resort Campground Reviews
We stayed here 3 days and loved this campground. The owners are very congenial and helpful. There are laundry facilities, a pool and pool house. The office has a store with most items that one would need. Very accommodating owners. Campground is extremely well cared for. We will come again.
Jul 22, 2022 · Donna DavisThe staff here is incredibly nice! The fellow campers as well. It is a beautiful little campground that appears to be very well maintained. The store/office is wonderful and bathrooms were very clean (I was super impressed with the ones by the pool, the pool was great too, by the way 😁)The staff had planned some wonderful weekend activities for the whole family this memorial weekend and there was so much fun and laughter to be had. The only (and I do mean ONLY) downside was that the lake leaves much to be desired. There is no beach area and the lillies have taken over the surface area. This is the only reason I gave this place 4 stars instead of 5. It is possible to get a kayak in there but that is all. That being said, we were very impressed with the campground itself and really loved our time at this campground and would LOVE to come back.
May 31, 2022 · Amber AntolovichThis camp ground is surround by beautiful nature! The staff was super friendly and the bathrooms were always very clean! It was convenient to be able to do laundry at the campsite if needed. I would give it five stars but the camp sites were pretty small, that would be my only complaint. Over all, I recommend, and I hope to come back again!
Oct 13, 2021 · Bailey ClausenWe stayed here last week for three nights. This campground is VERY clean. It also has a lot of shade. When we plugged in to the electricity our breaker box kept kicking off the air. We went to the host (owners) and they came over and fixed the issue within 15 minutes of us notifying them. The owners were very personable and gave recommendations of things to do in the area. This campground also has a pool to relax in. The pool and pool house showers/bathroom were also very clean, in fact we just decided to shower there instead of in our camper. My only complaint is that the water had a very strong mineral/metallic smell. The in camp laundry room was also very well cared. My boys 6 and 8 were also very entertained at the playground. They REALLY wanted me to mention how cool the playground was. It had stuff for all ages of kids, toddler to big kid with plenty of seating for parents and shade. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.
Aug 07, 2024 · Ashley CorneliusLovely quiet campground near Kalamazoo. Tall trees and shady. Friendly laid back staff. Restrooms a bit dated but very clean. Lake is beautiful at sunset. Spacious sites. Starlink issues with so many trees (but I would rather have the trees.) Long entrance road made for nice morning walks. Sites are dirt, could use some gravel improvement. Many seasonal long timers but sites kept tidy.
