Paradise Campground Introduce
For local users in search of "camping near me" in the Cambridge, Idaho region, Paradise Campground, located on NF-009, Cambridge, ID 83610, USA, offers a seemingly tranquil option for those seeking a quieter outdoor experience. You can reach them at (877) 444-6777 or their mobile number +1 877-444-6777 for inquiries and reservations. As a campground within the "camping near me" category, Paradise Campground aims to provide accessible outdoor lodging and recreational opportunities for individuals and families in the local area.
Based on the limited reviews available, the environment of Paradise Campground is generally perceived as pleasant and quiet. One reviewer specifically noted the silence, particularly during the night in mid-March, mentioning the absence of car sounds despite the road being nearby. This suggests a potentially secluded or well-situated location that minimizes traffic noise, contributing to a more peaceful camping atmosphere. The mention of a friendly camp host also hints at a welcoming and potentially well-maintained environment.
However, another review provides a contrasting perspective on a subsequent visit, indicating issues with the host that detracted from the experience. While this doesn't detail specific environmental aspects, it underscores the importance of considering the overall management and atmosphere of a campground. The initial positive review suggests that at certain times, the campground offers a serene setting conducive to relaxation.
In terms of services, the information is limited. One review mentions that the campground honors federal parks and forest passes, offering a rate of $10 per night for pass holders. This indicates that Paradise Campground is likely a federal park or forest service campground, which typically offer basic amenities. These might include vault toilets, potable water (though not explicitly mentioned), picnic tables, and fire rings at individual campsites. However, more developed amenities such as showers or electrical hookups are less common in such campgrounds unless specifically stated. The presence of a camp host usually implies some level of on-site management and assistance for campers.
The features of Paradise Campground, based on the available feedback, seem to include its quiet and silent environment, at least during certain times of the year, making it appealing for those seeking a peaceful retreat. The acceptance of federal parks and forest passes is a notable feature for pass holders, potentially making it a more affordable option. The friendly demeanor of the camp host, as mentioned in one review, can also significantly enhance the camping experience by providing helpful assistance and a welcoming atmosphere. However, the later negative experience with the host suggests that the quality of this feature might vary.
Currently, there is no specific promotional information available in the provided reviews. As a federal campground, pricing is typically standardized, with potential discounts for pass holders. For local users interested in Paradise Campground, it would be advisable to check the official website of the relevant federal agency (such as the U.S. Forest Service or the Bureau of Land Management, depending on which manages the site) or contact the reservation system mentioned (often Recreation.gov for federal campgrounds) to inquire about current rates, reservation procedures, and any potential seasonal offers or discounts beyond the federal pass benefit. Calling the provided phone numbers might also yield specific information about the campground and any promotions.
For local users considering Paradise Campground within the "camping near me" category, the initial positive feedback highlights its potential for a quiet and peaceful camping experience. The acceptance of federal passes can make it an economical choice for those who have them. However, the subsequent negative review regarding the camp host indicates a potential area of variability in the overall experience. It's important to note that reviews can be subjective and reflect individual experiences at a particular time.
To make an informed decision, local users might want to further research Paradise Campground on federal recreation websites or camping forums to find more information about its amenities, typical environment during different seasons, and recent reviews from other campers. Understanding the standard services offered by federal campgrounds in the area can also help set expectations. If a quiet and natural setting is a priority, and if you possess a federal parks or forest pass, Paradise Campground could be a viable option. However, it would be prudent to gather more information about the current management and any potential issues reported by recent visitors.
In conclusion, Paradise Campground near Cambridge, Idaho, presents itself as a potentially quiet and peaceful "camping near me" destination, particularly appealing to those with federal parks or forest passes. The friendly camp host mentioned in one review suggests a positive aspect of the service. However, the contrasting negative experience with the host in a later visit indicates that the overall quality of the experience might not be consistently excellent. Local users are encouraged to seek additional information from official sources and recent reviews to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the campground's environment, services, and any current conditions before making a reservation.

Paradise Campground Reviews
Very nice place. Quiet and silent. As march 13 no car sounds during night. Road is close but no traffic on it. Camp host very friendly. For federal parks and forest pass 10$ per night.
Mar 14, 2015 · Pioter MThis was are second time camping at this site. We had a great time the first time that we visit and decided to return this year. This time around was not as pleasant . We had a couple of issues with the host, which will make us choose a different camp site next year.
