Pocahontas State Park Entrance Reviews
Always a good visit. VA state parks offer free admission/parking if you have a handicap placard. There is also a form online to request free access if you don’t have a placard handy. Otherwise they spot your blue card in the windshield and wave you right on in without issue. Wish other state parks did this!!
Jul 09, 2024 · Airlea EvaryWent into the office and bought an annual parking pass to all state parks in VA!
Apr 12, 2025 · Kathleen RobinsonOne of our favorite places to camp. Close to convenient ammenities for shopping in town. Campsites are large and private with areas of nice wooded coverage for shade. Plus loads of hiking and biking trails. There is a large pool with Waterpark that is a fun place to cool off. There are nice gravel areas with picnic tables and firepits.
May 26, 2024 · Dawn ButcherIt was so big the gave us a map upon entering. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great but I can't wait to return. The staff was very friendly!
