The grounds themselves are consistently reported as clean and well-maintained, reflecting the dedication of the staff to providing a tidy and welcoming environment for all guests. A laundry room is also available, adding to the convenience for both short-term and long-term visitors.
Among the features highlighted by campers are the clean showers. While some feedback notes that the water temperature in the showers can be extremely hot and non-adjustable, the cleanliness of the facilities is consistently praised. This attention to hygiene is a significant factor for many campers when choosing a location. Additionally, the campground is pet-friendly, allowing you to bring your furry companions along on your camping adventure. It's important to note some aspects based on customer feedback that potential visitors should be aware of. Several reviews mention that the campsites are located very close together. This might be a consideration for those seeking a more secluded and private camping experience. Additionally, one review noted that during a winter stay, the restrooms had stainless steel toilets and lacked hot water in the taps. While deemed acceptable for a single night, this might be a drawback for longer stays, particularly during colder months. It's worth considering your personal preferences regarding bathroom facilities when planning your visit.
Despite these points, the affordability of the rates, especially during the off-season, is a significant advantage. For budget-conscious travelers looking for a base to explore Florence and the surrounding coastal areas, the Port of Siuslaw Campground presents a compelling option. Port of Siuslaw Campground Reviews
Great location in the heart of Florence. Showers are clean but they run extremely hot and you can’t adjust the temperature. Spots are very close together. The grounds are kept clean and maintained day. Laundry room is nice. It’s a good place to stay. WiFi is iffy at best. We stayed for 6 months which is the longest you can stay per calendar year. Pets are allowed. The office people are nice and helpful.
Mar 31, 2025 · Anna DanksThe best thing about this campground is that it’s located right in the heart of Florence. It’s a really quick walk to the historic downtown, where you can grab some coffee, food and browse through gift shops. The RV park was empty in the winter. No issues with the site. We had full hook ups and the rate was affordable. There were only two bathrooms/showers with stainless steel toilets and no hot water in the taps. It’s fine for one night, but for a longer term stay, I would prefer something with a cozier toilet/shower set up.
Jan 25, 2025 · Jen SHas plenty of RV sites. Can choose river side or up under trees. Or pull through in the middle of the campground. Clean, quiet , pet friendly. Has restrooms and showers. Also has laundry facilities.
Apr 20, 2025 · Kelley ShermanNice RV park within walking distance of Old Town Florence on the river. Right on the water during winter weather sitting inside watching the storms roll through was very relaxing.
Dec 02, 2024 · Scott HennisVery crowded and close together spots. You open your door, and look right into the next guy's RV... With all the big rigs in there, you feel walled in. And the utilities need upgraded; the faucets are barely above ground, and some cable TV boxes have been run over flat. Also, I think it's a price gouge to charge $10 to make a reservation, when you are standing at the counter. It doesn't take any more work to type the info into the computer. On the plus side, the laundry room is spotless, & the location is fabulous!
