Aug 18, 2022 · Ann ThomasGreat little campground. If you like kayaking or canoeing there are a few spots that back up to the canoe canal. They also have a very small boat launch at the far back end of the campground
Aug 03, 2024 · Jeffrey ScottNothing wrong with the campground itself, but the management needs improvement. There was no host on site and our site had a camper in it when we arrived. They said they booked through NPS website same as us. Luckily they were friendly and we all fit, but we heard that two other sites were also double booked. A camp host on site would have made sure things went smoothly. You do hear the traffic but it isn’t terrible. I liked hearing the frogs sing at night.
Jul 04, 2023 · NannstahSpot was beautiful but our generator was stolen in daylight while we were a few yards away fishing.Definitely keep an eye on your belongings since there is no camp host
Aug 22, 2023 · Jasmine ConnerYes the I there is a highway nearby, but you feel almost invisible in this location. A small campground, with great campsites... Many right on the river for easy access kayaking and paddle boarding. Delightful spot not far from Florence. Will definitely be back. Oriented toward tent camping.
