Potlatch State Park Campground Reviews
We travel from Vancouver Island and this place is in a great location to find a place and set up camp before dark in the summer time after getting off the ferry and travelling what isn’t very far at all . Plus not having gates to lock you out is a big plus as well ! We show up late coming home too in the middle of the night , quickly find a spot and go drop the cash in the box and gone in the morning! Love it and will be a spot we hit both ways every time we visit !
Aug 20, 2024 · Fail NobraGreat little getaway from the city life. Beautiful tree canopy. No sewer hookup is a bummer hence 4 stars - dump station is free and so is boat launch - after you register and pay.
Sep 13, 2023 · Серый ВолкI love that it’s surrounded by trees! The beach was absolutely fun! We had site 07 and didn’t enjoy it at all. It was way too close from hwy 101 and was very noisy. Dumpsters are really hard to find! compare to the other parks, this one is not well keep like the other ones. It’s not dirty in any mean but other state parks that I’ve been to are better.
May 28, 2021 · Ricky MWell maintained camping ground. Has water and electricity hookups. Each camp sport has a dining table. Restrooms were clean and well maintained. Campground is right next to the road which has street lights so it's not super dark at night. There was no sound from the road in the night
Aug 29, 2023 · Sughosh JahagirdarWe stayed in site 94 in the very back. It was very secluded and quiet. I wouldn't stay in the sites at the front by 101, due to the noise of the road. The beach and day use area was rather boring. Then again we only checked it out during hightide. It's a good place for shellfishing I have heard. Our stay was to be close to Lake cushman, which it worked just fine for. The staff at the campground were very pleasant, and helpful. Would go back as long as I can find a spot near the back.
