Washington Global Glamping Introduce
Are you searching for a unique and convenient camping experience right here in Washington? Look no further than Washington Global Glamping, nestled in the scenic area of Hoodsport, WA. Located at GR6X+53C, this campground offers a distinctive approach to enjoying the outdoors, particularly appealing to those seeking a step up from traditional tent camping. For locals browsing platforms under the category "camping near me," Washington Global Glamping presents an intriguing option worth considering.
Based on available information, Washington Global Glamping is currently undergoing some changes. Recent customer feedback indicates a transition in ownership and ongoing renovations across the property. At present, it appears that only two of the glamping domes situated at the front of the property are available for booking, with the remaining areas fenced off. This suggests a more limited capacity and potentially a different atmosphere compared to previous experiences.
For those unfamiliar with the concept, glamping combines the allure of camping with the comforts of home. The available domes at Washington Global Glamping aim to provide just that – a comfortable and hassle-free way to immerse yourself in nature without the need for extensive packing and setup. According to a recent review, the domes themselves are comfortable and offer a memorable experience, especially for families with children looking for an "easy camp" option. The provision of a freshly cleaned Porta John addresses basic sanitation needs, a crucial aspect for any camping or glamping site.
However, it's essential for prospective local visitors to be aware of some significant concerns raised in recent feedback. One customer reported a severely negative experience, citing the absence of a host and bathroom facilities. This review also mentioned the presence of trash in the camping area, challenging access due to rough dirt roads and a lack of signage or lighting, making the location difficult to find. Furthermore, this customer claimed that a promised refund for the unsatisfactory stay was never issued. This feedback highlights the importance of verifying the current amenities and conditions before making a booking.
The contrasting reviews paint a picture of a campground in transition. While one recent visitor found the available dome comfortable and suitable for a family "easy camp," the earlier review raises serious questions about the basic operational standards and customer service. The mention of renovations suggests that the new ownership is likely working to improve the property and its offerings. However, for local users considering Washington Global Glamping based on the "camping near me" category, it would be prudent to seek the most up-to-date information regarding the available facilities, services, and the overall condition of the campground.
If you are looking for a glamping experience that minimizes packing and provides a unique shelter, the currently available domes at the front of Washington Global Glamping might still hold appeal. The positive feedback regarding the comfort of the domes suggests that the core accommodation remains a draw. However, potential guests should be prepared for the possibility of limited amenities and the ongoing renovation work. It would be wise to contact Washington Global Glamping directly at the provided phone numbers – (406) 890-4887 or mobile +1 406-890-4887 – to inquire about the current status of the campground, the available amenities (such as bathrooms and waste disposal), and the accessibility of the location. Asking about recent updates and any temporary changes due to the renovations is highly recommended.
For local campers exploring options within the "camping near me" category, the experience at Washington Global Glamping appears to be evolving. While the vision of comfortable glamping domes remains, the current reality might differ significantly from past experiences or general expectations of a managed campground. The lack of a host and proper bathroom facilities, as reported by one reviewer, are critical considerations for any camping trip. The remote location and challenging access further underscore the need for thorough preparation and clear directions, which were reportedly lacking.
As Washington Global Glamping undergoes these changes, local users interested in a glamping getaway should exercise caution and due diligence. Verifying the availability of essential services, the condition of the grounds, and obtaining clear directions are crucial steps before booking. While the idea of "easy camping with kids" in a comfortable dome is attractive, ensuring that basic needs are met and that the experience aligns with expectations is paramount. Keep an eye out for updated information and potentially new reviews as the renovations progress, which may offer a clearer picture of the future experience at Washington Global Glamping.
In summary, Washington Global Glamping offers a unique glamping experience with comfortable domes in the Hoodsport area. However, recent feedback indicates ongoing renovations and potential limitations in services and amenities. Local users searching for "camping near me" should directly contact the campground at (406) 890-4887 or +1 406-890-4887 to get the most current information regarding availability, facilities, and access before making a reservation. While the concept of easy glamping remains appealing, it's essential to be aware of the reported issues and the transitional phase the campground appears to be in.

Washington Global Glamping Reviews
My experience was not good. I feel mislead by the website and old reviews. There was no host, no bathrooms. There was trash littered throughout the area around the tent. The location is very remote, with only rough dirt roads leading to the camp. There are no signs/lights for the campsite, so it is really difficult to find. They were supposed to issue a refund since there were so many issues with our stay but the refund never came. I would not recommend and would not go back.
Sep 27, 2024 · Eli FThis was our second stay, seems like ownership changed over and they are renovating some of the area. Only two domes at the front of the property are available, they have the rest fenced off. We missed the old friendly proprietors and their black lab Vader but overall the dome was comfortable and as we remembered. If you want to easy camp with kids this is the perfect spot. Minimal packing required, a roof over your head, and a Porta John for necessities (it was freshly cleaned)
Jun 27, 2024 · Aaron BenderI've experienced glamping at many different locations, and this was nothing like what one would expect from a glamping experience. To make matters worse, my experience was completely opposite to the positive reviews others have shared here.I booked a multi-day stay through their website in June, 2024, expecting basic amenities like a tent, toilet, showers and a camp host, which are all standard features at most glamping sites, especially at this price point. However we were shocked upon arrival to find nothing more than a dome dropped in the middle of a forest, with no other amenities whatsoever. The road leading to the location of the dome was so bad, we thought we'd get stuck. Fortunately we came in an SUV. If we came in our smaller car, I have no idea how we would have managed. None of this was communicated to us beforehand. The people running this operation are not local; they seem to be based out of other states and are completely disconnected from what they are offering. So being unprepared to spend several nights in the wilderness without amenities and proper supplies we had to cut our trip short, staying just one night instead of 4 nights that I have originally booked and paid for. When we complained about the lack of advertised bathroom facilities (we were forced rot relieve ourselves in the woods), they promised to issue a refund. The refund never came. This company is running a complete scam, and I feel obligated to warn others. If you are expecting a true glamping experience and are paying for it, you won't get it here.
Sep 24, 2024 · Katrina BelangerGreat little dome first off. That’s about all that was good. The bed was not made upon arrival. A pile of sheets and blankets? Are they clean or dirty, who knows. How can you prove or did prove that the person you’re paying to turn over your sites is actually doing their job, clearly they can reuse photos from their previous cleanings to “prove” they cleaned. The address that was given through air b and b was not accurate. Driving back down a gravel road to get service to call the property owner for the correct address. There was no mention in the add of the long gravel road that would need to be taken to get to the property. Solar power generated stated in the add was nowhere to be found. Don’t book through air b and b, the owner who lives out of state has a website that was priced $200 less.
Jul 20, 2024 · Mindy WyssMarc and his team are exceptional! (Including the sweetest pup Vader) Cultivating a safe, and magical space. My family took this trip as an emotional get away from traumatic events and Marc was so helpful in every aspect of our stay. From fantastic deals on fire wood, propane to the opportunity to stay in a spacious, clean magical dome in the woods. Marc made sure to give very clear instructions as we drove from quite a distance and got in late. He also gave all the best recommendations and provided so much help to me and mine. I’m forever grateful to this very magical place and will definitely be returning. The provided stove, bathroom and bed, yes an actual bed made this experience a retreat for collecting calm! This wasn’t camping, my kids and I felt like the lost boys in Peter Pan in the coolest massive dome to rest our weary minds, hearts and souls in order to feel rejuvenated once again for us three to continue to take on all the challenges life throws our way.Even with date changes and some extra hoops Marc helped me to get through it all!Thank you Marc truly!-Jessi and the boys
