Its convenient location just off Highway 89 also makes it easily accessible for both local campers and those passing through.
The environment of Spanish Fork River Park Campground is consistently praised for its beauty and tranquility. Situated in a "beautiful valley," the campground benefits from natural sound buffering, effectively minimizing highway noise, although the sound of trains can be heard, which some visitors, like one reviewer, actually enjoy. A creek flows through the park, with some RV spots, such as C9, offering "awesome creek access." This proximity to the water enhances the natural appeal and provides opportunities for enjoying the flowing water. The presence of "many cottonwood trees" contributes to the scenery, although visitors should be aware that this can result in white fluff being present, particularly during certain times of the year. Adding to the natural charm, cows can sometimes be seen on the nearby hills, providing an unexpected and enjoyable bonus for campers. Furthermore, the campground is a haven for birdlife, with one visitor reporting at least five hummingbirds at their feeder simultaneously, indicating a vibrant ecosystem.
In terms of services, Spanish Fork River Park Campground offers a range of amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. For RV spots, a significant advantage is the provision of water hookups. However, it's important to note that electricity and sewer hookups are not available at the RV sites. Despite this, the availability of water is a crucial service for RVers. The campground also caters to different types of visitors with separate areas designated for RVs, day visitors, and primitive tent sites located across the creek. All campsites, regardless of type, are equipped with picnic tables, providing a convenient space for meals and gatherings. The bathrooms at the campground are consistently highlighted for their cleanliness and pleasant smell, which is a significant factor in overall camper satisfaction. For those staying in group sites, a reviewer mentioned the availability of paved pads on long driveways (70+ feet), as well as water, picnic tables, fire pits, and grills. Reservations can be easily made online through the Utah counties website, as noted by one visitor who stayed overnight. A camp host is also present to greet and assist campers, ensuring a smooth setup process.

The availability of fire pits and grills at some sites (specifically mentioned for the overnight trailer site) allows for campfires and outdoor cooking. The clean and well-maintained bathrooms are a significant feature that contributes to the overall positive experience. The natural features, such as the cottonwood trees, the possibility of seeing cows, and the abundance of hummingbirds, add to the charm and appeal of the campground. For RVers, the paved pads and long driveways at some sites are a notable feature, providing a stable and spacious setup. Regarding promotional information, the overwhelmingly positive reviews from recent visitors serve as strong endorsements. The description of the park as "immaculate" and "awesome" by one long-term (two-night) camper speaks volumes about the quality of the campground. The easy online reservation system mentioned by an overnight visitor is a practical benefit that can attract more campers. The presence of a friendly and helpful camp host also enhances the appeal. The repeated mentions of clean bathrooms and the beautiful environment are key selling points. While there are no specific discounts or special offers mentioned, the combination of convenient location, well-maintained facilities, and natural beauty at a presumably reasonable price (though the exact cost is not specified in the reviews) makes Spanish Fork River Park Campground a highly attractive option. The fact that it caters to both RVs (with water hookups) and tent campers, including primitive sites, broadens its appeal to a wide range of outdoor enthusiasts. Spanish Fork River Park Campground Reviews
We are camped here for 2 nights. This an immaculate park. RV spots HAVE water. No electricity, no sewer. In a beautiful valley so you can't hear the highway. You can hear the trains, but I love them. They also have separate area for centers, day visitors, and across the creek is the primitive tent sites. All have picnic tables. This place is awesome. Bathrooms are super clean and smell good! Creek was flowing fast in June. C9 rv spot has awesome creek access. This place is right off 89 for easy easy on off access. Many cotton wood trees so white fluff everywhere. Cows up on hill were an added fun bonus. Oh, did I mention the hummingbirds?!?! At least 5 at our feeder at one time.
Jun 20, 2024 · Alice FeeneyVery Nice Campground Just Off the HighwayWe stopped overnight at this campground as we passed through. It was easy to make a reservation on the Utah counties website before we arrived. A very nice camp host greeted us and made sure we were all set up. Our trailer site has a paved pad on a 70+ foot driveway, water, picnic table, fire pit, and grill. we didn’t use any of the other facilities, but it looks like a nice park, clean bathrooms, etc. Our campsite #1 was opposite from the water which was OK with us since we’re just staying overnight.
Jul 11, 2024 · Mindy VincentThis place is a GEM!We stopped through in the middle of a 1300 mile trip just looking for a place to stop & sleep. The camp hosts are so nice! The campground is beautiful. The bathrooms are Super Clean! (Cleaner than alot of hotels). A very comfortable, inviting experience.I'd absolutely stay here again if I find myself driving through Utah. One thing, the Google listing says there's wifi, there isn't. Also, no Verizon service. There was a guy there with AT&T that had full service though.
Aug 20, 2022 · JxPxWonderful camping experience with big camp sites and super clean bathrooms. The camp hosts are probably the sweetest people I've ever met. Amazing views and gorgeous weather. However It was very windy at night so make sure your tent is secure.
Jun 06, 2021 · Mevina DavisThis campsite is the gold standard at which all others should be measured! Waterfront, big spaces, natural setting, stunning views, clean facilities, and super friendly camp hosts. It was nice to be able to soak our feet in the creek and smell the sweet summer air. Afternoon shad from the lovely trees was a bonus!
