These features indicate a level of development and care that ensures a comfortable and convenient camping setup. The concrete campsites with individual amenities like covered picnic tables and fire pits are also noteworthy features that enhance the camping experience.
The fact that "most sites require a little leveling but nothing major" is a practical piece of information for RV campers. While the concrete pads are a benefit, a slight incline on some sites might necessitate the use of leveling blocks to ensure RVs are properly positioned. However, the reviewer notes that this is not a significant issue, suggesting that the sites are generally well-designed and manageable.

Apr 02, 2025 · Virgil BarnesWe love St. Francios State Park! There are some basic spots you'll need extra leveling blocks but the sites are clean & the park is well maintained. The water access is a short bikeride & hike away.Pics/video is from electric site # 35. Plenty of space for our family of 6 and our 2 large dogs.
Aug 28, 2023 · AliThis was our second time camping here. We enjoyed our time there. The people who camp here are very nice the camp hosts were kind. The campgrounds are always so clean when we get there. There wasn't a lot of people in the area we were in so it was nice a quiet. The camping spot we were at was spacious and the bathroom was close. We really enjoy our time at St. Francois.
