Thousand Trails Leavenworth Reviews
We showed up on a weekend during Octoberfest, so we ended up in the area of the property without sewage. But, we also ended up next to the lake.It was absolutely lovely. We were there for a week and loved every minute. That side of the park was practically empty during the week, so it was super quiet and the autumn leaves were gorgeous. The nearby shower house was just fine, only cold. As I said, we were there in October and possibly the only people using that bath house so it was no surprise there was no heat and the water took a minute to warm up. No complaining, just explaining in the event you find yourself in a similar situation.
Oct 25, 2024 · Camp CatsA quiet campsite. The staffs are very friendly. There is free coffee in the lodge, where you can play puzzles, play your mobile phone and play games. The campground in autumn is so beautiful.
Oct 22, 2024 · Fishire Yinthis is a beautiful park with plenty of potential. Needs many upgrades, but the area makes up for it. It's a first come first serve park and there are very few full hook ups. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the bathrooms are clean. Many sites are 30 amp only Tight turns in the park, if you're towing, detach up front.
Mar 13, 2025 · Eric Kristy AdventuresGreat campgrounds. The trails around it are wonderful. It has a pool and a lodge with fireplace and gameroom. Nice little putt putt course too. Great for families.
Oct 14, 2024 · Stephen M JohnI used to go here a few times a year every year growing up. They had tons of activities for the kids to do and things were clean and kept up nicely. That is not the case any more. Although some of the bathrooms have been updated with new counters and hands-free dispensers, they don’t look like they have been deep-cleaned in years. There are no lights around the campground at night, so going to the bathroom can be quite scary. There are many bears around the area, too, we were told. The pool was clean and nice, but those bathrooms and showers are dilapidated and look like they did when I was a kid 30+ years ago. The roads are extremely dry and dusty and there are yellow jackets and mosquitoes everywhere, so eating outside was out of the question. The sites are not great, but we did finally find one that would work for our little 19’ trailer without sewer connection. There is no cell reception in most of the main park, but the lodge does have WiFi. It was not bad for an overnight stop, but glamping it is not.
