Timber Cove Boat Landing & Campground Reviews
My husband and myself absolutely loved this place. The private beach was everything. We brought our chairs and heater and enjoyed the days on the beach. There was a water fall going into the ocean. It was breathtaking. Counted 10 sea lions. There is a restaurant in walking distance. We really enjoyed that. Lots of bird watching. Just a truly remarkable experience. The host Brenda answered all of our questions and gave great suggestions. Make sure to check in with her. She recommended the restaurant and I really enjoyed her knowledge about the history of the property. We will definitely go back. It was absolutely relaxing and worth the drive.
Feb 18, 2025 · Mrs JaraI used to come to this cool boat launch and camp location when I was younger, abalone and scuba diving with my family. (about 35+ yrs ago) Once I had my own family I would return to make use of the Sea Ranch rentals or sometimes just come out alone for a drive to get away from the city and everyone in it. I hadn't been back for at least 18 years (I moved to Florida) Returning was even better than I thought!! Brenda, Proprietor and manager was as hospitable and accommodating as her dear father was. The cove serenity and the views are natural California coast, pacific ocean purity. Tent spots are always in demand so book early and say Hi to Brenda!!!
Sep 21, 2017 · Jeanine RiveraThis area is amazing! Views, clean water and air - best way to enjoy it? Camping! Despite Covid! We got a spot right on the cliff with amazing views, fire pit and hookups. Brenda was great to work with and all the facilities were clean and stocked.
Jul 25, 2020 · Charlie JoslinWe had an absolute blast. Brenda was so accommodating. Not only were we able to check in early, but we also changed to a different campsite. The view was amazing, and the wind was minimal. I was able to set my kite up and then take it to another state beach. The birdwatching was great. We saw a lot of seagulls, ravens, hummingbirds, and a few osprey.I would totally recommend it here if you're hopping up or down the coast. Not to mention, I was able to book a week out on the weekend.
